Don’t see how’s it’s possible with them ranked 1,2,3. If bama is 1 they’d have won the seccg. If we’re 2 we would have had to have lost to bama regular season (not being in the seccg) which means we would have had to have beaten Georgia to be ahead of them at 2. So Georgia has 2 losses at 3? Bama is unbeaten and we have 1 loss to bama?

Another scenario would be LSU beating BAMA (only loss) and UGA (only loss), then losing to a 1 loss UGA in a tight SECCG. All 3 teams would have 1 loss. Also it would require most contending Power 5 teams to lose 1 game.

Typical SEC fantasy land stuff here. Sounds like something I’d hear my father in law predict. This scenario literally will never happen.

It could easily happen if LSU beats Bama at home by a FG in OT and LSU beats GA. Bama wins out and GA wins out. You would have LSU undefeated, going for sure, Bama with 1 loss and GA with 1 loss all to the #1 team in the country or say if GA beats LSU in the SEC championship game and they're all 11-1. LMAO. Now that the country and SEC has set this precedent of non conference winning and even divisional winning teams going to the playoffs and winning it. It very well could happen. There's a bunch of ways it can happen but all would have to be either undeafeated or with one loss. Ohio State wouldn't have the resume either of those 3 teams would. Clemson wouldn't the Pac 12 wouldn't and the big 12 likely won't. The only way they would even have a chance is if one of those big schools were undefeated and they still wouldn't have the resume that those 3 schools would. GA plays Auburn and LSU this year then they have a championship game to play. LSU plays Auburn, Miami, Bama and GA. Then you add Miss State and A&M to the mix and you have a superior resume if they only lose to the strongest teams by small margins.

Would the best case scenario be (and I hate myself for typing this) we run the table except for Bama. Bama goes on to beat Georgia in the SECCG giving them two losses. LSU goes to playoffs with one loss and a chance to revenge the mulligan game

Not saying this is likely but hypothetically

Or some variation of that

Well if were looking at whats best for us, HECK no. If we beat UGA and lose to bama we would want bama to beat UGA in a championship game. That knocks UGA out of playoff contention. Lots of games before that.

Or lose to UGA and beat Bama. Then beat UGA in a rematch in the SECCG.

No that’s dumb. And obviously picked by a guy that doesn’t realize that LSU plays Bama and UGA in th le reg season. And then would play UGA 2x in SECCG. Then what we could see LSU v UGA X3 in a playoff God these media people are dumb as rocks

It could work out this way honestly, if lsu ran the table regular season that would give both Bama and Uga one lose, that would put us in the sec championship game facing Georgia and they beat us we would each have 1 Lose so not that far fetched, I do not think it will play out that way though.

There are other scenarios then just that one
