Multiple sources are reporting that LSU running back Chris Curry has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Curry, who wore No. 18 for the Tigers, finished with just 145 yards on 45 carries this season. His departure leaves LSU with four scholarship running backs remaining who played last season.

The Tigers also signed four-star running back Corey Kiner and Armoni Goodwin last week.

Chris was great down the stretch for the Tigers in the glorious 2019 run.

Hope he can find more playing time elsewhere. Definitely is a tough runner.

Thanks for his work. Crazy to see a #18 transfer.

That's the kind of leadership you like to see wearing #18.

I will always remember Chris stepping up against OU when Clyde got hurt and helping us not miss a beat. Good luck to the kid.

Good choice here for him. What a terrible choice for an 18....no insult to the young man.

I’m completely fine with this. I hate to lose him, but I understand his decision. I give him even more credit for finishing what he started this season and not opting out/entering the transfer portal mid season bc things weren’t going well and he wasn’t getting much pt. Good luck #18.

At least Chris stayed the entire year and showed his grit and determination for the Tiger in 2020. Best of luck to you young man.

I'll always remember being in Atlanta when Curry made the so-called OU defense look silly. Thanks for being a Tiger and sticking it out!

Wish him the best. He stuck it out for three years without much PT and was ready when called upon. He’ll will always be remembered for the playoff game, but we shouldn’t ever forget the last two games this year where LSU showed the heart of a champion. Would love to see him transfer to South Alabama.

Some #18 he is

Isn't #18 supposed to be for guys who represent LSU well? Someone who leads, doesn't bitch and moan, helps to keep the team together? Pretty sure he did all of that and more. He could have opted out when the writing was on the wall that he wasn't going to get much time, but he didn't. He finished the season before deciding to leave.

He runs hard, but lacks in many ways.

Good guy but we have better RBs. Best of luck to him unless it is against us.
