Multiple sources are reporting that LSU running back Chris Curry has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Curry, who wore No. 18 for the Tigers, finished with just 145 yards on 45 carries this season. His departure leaves LSU with four scholarship running backs remaining who played last season.

The Tigers also signed four-star running back Corey Kiner and Armoni Goodwin last week.

I will always remember Chris stepping up against OU when Clyde got hurt and helping us not miss a beat. Good luck to the kid.

That's the kind of leadership you like to see wearing #18.

Let’s be honest, neither #18 were good picks.

I’m completely fine with this. I hate to lose him, but I understand his decision. I give him even more credit for finishing what he started this season and not opting out/entering the transfer portal mid season bc things weren’t going well and he wasn’t getting much pt. Good luck #18.

At least Chris stayed the entire year and showed his grit and determination for the Tiger in 2020. Best of luck to you young man.

Chris was great down the stretch for the Tigers in the glorious 2019 run.

Wish him the best. He stuck it out for three years without much PT and was ready when called upon. He’ll will always be remembered for the playoff game, but we shouldn’t ever forget the last two games this year where LSU showed the heart of a champion. Would love to see him transfer to South Alabama.

Hope he can find more playing time elsewhere. Definitely is a tough runner.

I'll always remember being in Atlanta when Curry made the so-called OU defense look silly. Thanks for being a Tiger and sticking it out!

Ran hard but had big trouble following blocks. Good luck to him in his future. I think with the right offense he will be fine.

Good guy but we have better RBs. Best of luck to him unless it is against us.

When we had road graters last year he was great at hitting the hole hard, but this year he was pretty unable to adjust if the designed running lane was plugged. Good luck in the future, 18

I wish him well. I haven't seen anything that would make me think I'll of him.
