Yep, Jacob Hester was a 2 star and Trindon Holliday a 3 star. There's always room for talented guys who can develop into good players.

If LSU goes 11 & 1 and makes it to the playoffs this season, can anyone imagine how good the recruiting is going to be next year under Coach O? Man, Saban better watch it! As Coach O is steadily closing the gap. Another couple of good years after this year and LSU will be on the same level as Alabama. I can't wait.

The day Mathieu committed, he was a 2 star, on Rivals at least, that's what I followed back then, probably Shouldve written him off too, O line recruits are different, takes time to build relationships, I believe this coach has what it takes I'm going to give him the BOTD as far as his assessments go...as much as anything we need quality bodies that fit OT mold and let competition bring the best out of each

Mathieu was a four-star on Rivals when he committed.

Yes offer sheet is long but where is Bama and Clemson? We are still picking up scraps. Nothing against the kid, I am happy for him....but truth hurts and stop crowning O the king. Yes he is doing his best, but to beat the best, we need the best.

The kid has offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Ohio State, Arkansas, Syracuse, and Georgia. All in addition to to LSU's offer. Then there are other offers from schools large and small from coast to coast. Hardly picking up scraps. Lol.

So, everyone that isn't offered by Bama is scraps? You're fricking retarded.

Both of my kids went to STA. A very impressive school and excellent athletic program especially football. Both Bosa brothers are graduates

Man Coach O is really trying to build up the depth in the OL and DL and he has faith in his coaches to coach 'em up and get them ready for SEC competition. So the complaint was the 2020 class didn't have an OL commit now the complaint is the OL commit, really, REALLY? Coach O just can't win.

Goes to STA in Florida. A national powerhouse. Great measureables and a nice frame. 5 star... 3 star... whatever. This kid is a take.

Meh...3-star. Hopefully he can gain weight or proper technique that's missing to get his star rating up.

“Meh...3 star.”? Damn that’s stupid. How about you judge more by the other schools we beat out? St. Thomas Aquinas is a big boy powerhouse program in Class 7A too, playing against other big boy programs all the time.

Look at his offer sheet, this is a huge pick up.

I think he's a good pickup, but he'll be a guard not tackle.

LanTheBuilder64 months
He has the frame of a tackle but a little raw. May play some guard for a year or two to refine. He projects as a right guard though.
