re: Aranda Aims to Maximize Diverse Defensive Talent - ByrdRBJG7
Don't think D line depth will be an issue this year, shouldn't be with the Sr's returning, Shelvin ready, addition of Apu. Farell, Thomas, Logan, I think Jenkins gets snaps this year and Cherry should add some speed and athleticism at End....

re: Oline could be in a depth crisis, the time is now - ByrdRBJG7
Oh ok, that's a big surprise, he did not look like the kind of guy that was going to lose weight, I figured he'd be 295 by now, will say that his athleticism at that size and weight were incredible. Blocking was destructive, caught a swing broke a tackle then ran for 50-60 yard TD. Best prospect I s...

re: Oline could be in a depth crisis, the time is now - ByrdRBJG7
Saw Ray Parker when we scrimmaged Ruston last year in pre season, he looked 275 easy then, looked like he had the frame to add 20 lbs easily. I see no way he's 235...

re: Joe Brady: Get Your popcorn ready - ByrdRBJG7
I'm excited and tired of the "we've heard this before" stuff....different head coach, very different offense and philosophy, a young OC of the future that's learned from the best. Miles and his offense are gone, what happened while he was here has zero bearing moving forward. New players, coaches an...

re: OL Recruiting - here is why you do not need to worry - ByrdRBJG7
Don't know if we will get ALL those guys but I agree with your general sentiment that O line recruiting is on the way up, think we've got more young talent than we've had in a long time. Wire, Rosenthal, Parker, Smith, Bradford, Hines, Turner and Thomas are all very solid young guys. I also think th...

Think he could easily be the 2nd RB by midseason...and he was in RB by committee before his last year...

re: Does anyone have any thoughts on why Chauncey Gard-Johnson fell so far? - ByrdRBJG7
Some guy I heard breaking it down said his last year at Florida he played almost exclusively in the slot so there was hardly any tape on him at S last year....but that's definitely a bonus for us...

re: Coach Eaux on Birmingham radio - we will be physical and run the ball - not air-raid - ByrdRBJG7
I don't understand the confusion, plenty of spread teams run the ball very well. It opens running lanes, gets Corners on the field instead of backers, spreads defenses out...and the RPO gives flexibility to run or pass on every down....WR looks like it will be the most loaded group we will have the ...

re: Look at our Class of 2020 Ranking now!!! - ByrdRBJG7
I agree, there are several factors in our favor. First, the Cali connection, 2, the way we are literally cherry picking from the west and east coasts 3. These HUGE early commits bring momentum and exposure 4. We are returning 9 on O (counting Hines as starter) including a very good Sr QB, On defense...

That's just perfect, BAMA fans talking about LSU giving extra benefits!!!??? When every bama commit takes a pic with his new charger a week after committing\ signing....Those hillbillys are so fricking stupid they literally can't see what they're program has done for years.....and they're scared as h...

re: Saints select center Erik McCoy at #48 - ByrdRBJG7
There are always outliers, look at all drafts/ offseasons before and after Ireland got here, FA and the draft...look at the 14 and 15 draft. Two decent players in the bunch, in 16 we took Rankins, Thomas, Bell, Onyemata and Lasco. We had 5 picks in that draft with every one becoming a starter except...

We were both right, I said best O lineman, I figured at that stage it would be a C\G. You actually specified C\G, regardless that was a GREAT pickup...

Ummmm. I didn't say the first word about them scaring Williams, I said it could be the end for Bell, Could, also didn't say he was a starter, said maybe they wanted to make a 3 safety SUB package... So what or who are you addressing cause its not me...
