Elite five-star running back Camar Wheaton from Garland, TX (Lakeview Centennial) announced his top three schools on Tuesday which included the LSU Tigers.

Oklahoma and Alabama round out his final three:


Wheaton is rated the No. 1 running back in the country and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Texas for the class of 2021, according to ESPN Recruiting.

The Tigers currently have 16 verbal commits for the class of 2021 with one of them being four-star running back Corey Kiner.
