Former LSU star Ben Simmons has been offered a five-year, $168 million maximum contract extension from the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.


Simmons, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft, averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.7 assists last season for the Sixers.
