Do you think you could hit one of these Paul Skenes pitches?

Hit against him? Heck I don’t even want to have to catch him.

Give me 100 swings and I guarantee you I could foul one off.

If he keeps at this, and has longevity, he’ll be one of the greatest pitchers of our times.

It really wasn’t even fair for other schools when he was pitching, lol.

And to think he only would’ve been a midweek starter at Tennessee per vol fans lol

I wonder if Paul is pitching Sunday in their spring game. I’m in the area and it would be worth a ticket.

I know it’s a video and you can’t see everything a batter might see (including the spin of the ball), but man is it hard to tell the difference between a straight fastball and a pitch with movement - even in slow motion. His arm slot looks the same on all the pitches with the only difference, on some of the pitches, being the release point. It would be tough just to make contact on those pitches.

That's a good example that there are no really straight pitches

There are some YT overlays that show him throwing 4 different pitches simultaneously. Paul looks identical, but the ball paths are about 15 feet apart by the time they make it to the catcher. Mind boggling.
