For Not Liking The Transfer Portal, Nick Saban Is Starting To Dominate It
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
Nick Saban wasn't a big fan of the transfer portal, saying...
quote:

“I don’t know, is that going to make the rich get richer? You can decide that.”
Well, I guess it is. Alabama just added two major transfers out of the portal, Ohio State WR Jameson Williams and Tennessee star LB Henry To’oto’o...

He warned us all. This rule is going to make it easier for the big dogs, and I'm gonna have to do what I have to do.

I admire Coach Saban's honesty! Say, can we get an "All Things Saban" section on Tigerdroppings? I find myself wanting for more coverage on what Coach Saban says or does on a daily basis. I try to update myself on everything having to do with Coach Saban's current, past and future life at least twice a day. Thanks.

The more college football evolves and the more they change the rules, the scarier Sabans dominance gets.... They adjust the system for parody, but Sabans empire just keeps growing.

You are the problem! You are letting Saban to use his fearmonger to get what he wants.

When has anything ever been adjusted for parity?

He did not say he did not like it. He was warning everyone that he was about to eat.

What was the reason for the transfer portal? Was there something that needed to be fixed?

Hell, he warned that this would benefit the elite. Of course he's going to take advantage of it, same as when he complained about rules favoring the offense. It was ignored so he proceeded to change his own offense to take advantage of it, and became among the best in the nation, BEFORE LSU even discovered the forward pass.

Those that passed this new bullshite rule are off course. Let anybody transfer but everybody sits out a year. Everything has to be easy I guess.

nobody will sit unless they're not good enough to play. It's open season and Saban will be better than anybody at it.

I would like to know how many chargers are sold in Tuscaloosa compared to the rest of the country.

Hopefully we aren't stealing from children's charities to pay for them.

How do the numbers work, does anybody know? While LSU has to crunch down to hit 25 total in transfers and commits every year this is Bama;

2016 26 commits
2017 29 commits
2018 22 commits
2019 27 commits, 2 transfers (29 total)
2020 25 commits, 2 transfers (27 total)
2021 27 commits, 2 transfers (29 total)

They have more seniors return than LSU and both programs have several leave the program yearly.
