Crabgrass help please

A side piece of info for you-treating pre-emergent for crabgrass is a good option. Treatment is usually in Feb prior to the soil temp reaching 55 degrees. It's very effective.
I would have to do a search to see what to use for treatment if you're looking to treat now as I don't know off hand. Good luck to you.

Probably this if you don’t want to spend the $ on a post-emergent for 2.5 acres.

And I’d consider opting for dithiopyr (“Dimension”) over Prodiamine (Resolute) because dithiopyr also has some post-emergent efficacy on young crabgrass (up to 3 leaf stage) if you are slightly delayed on your application.

But whether Prodiamine or Dithopyr you have to apply early, before soil temperatures are 55 F, germination temperature for crabgrass seeds, so early Feb in south LA.
