I think they should lean into Leavitt or move on.

If he is what you’ve got, and you think he’s your best option, don’t try to fit a square pack into a round hole.
Two weeks in a row we’ve come out with a bad game plan on offense. Lean on the running game and that includes Jones as well as Leavitt. Lots of RPO game. Basically we become a triple option team at our core and build off of that.
If we possess the ball, I think our defense is good enough to win enough games for us to make the playoffs.
If you can’t alter your offense, then he’s just not your guy and you need to move on.
I kind of think a few designed runs to start would get his confidence up and help him find some rhythm. This outside leads have worked great. Basically single wing football.

Seems logical given LK has said multiple times they scheme the offense around the players they have.
It also seemed LK was on the headset more in the second half...

He's definitely had some sub par action but you can't deny we've seen flashes of really good stuff. IMO, it's too early to be overly negative on him. You have a ton of talent on the LSU sideline but one thing they don't have yet is chemistry. It may brew quickly. We'll see. Ole Miss has had a lot of time together.

He didn’t get spring reps. Ole Miss was an insane environment. It’s natural to be nervous.
I think Leavitt will be fine. At minimum, I’m confident he will keep progressing. All of LK’s QBs have.

Honestly I think he’s just not there yet with the system. Kiffin’s offense is complicated and takes some time to comprehend. I do think he’ll get there but he’s keeping us in games right now which is a huge plus. Hopefully the entire team will grow from this loss

Yep, looks calm, on time and on target when he’s looking for Green or Watkins. When he’s targeting the other guys he’s very hesitant. Need to build some trust there.

Bro, he's played in exactly three games after not participating in Spring and half the summer. Where was Jayden Daniel's three games into his first season of LSU or even Joey B, and they both had the spring, summer, and fall to work before their first year.
I don't understand people thinking that just because Lane kiffin is a great offensive coach that you can just throw somebody into a system and a few weeks later they're running it perfectly. There's a ton he doesn't even know yet. And what he does know is still moving at the speed of light because it hasn't slowed down due to repetition.
To be clear, I'm not saying he's the answer. I'm just saying who could possibly know yet.

Yeah for better or worse, Sam is the QB this year. We will live or die on his legs and his ability to improve in the passing game.
He’s a playmaker. Gonna just have to ride the highs and mitigate the lows as they come.
Think about this… AS BAD AS WE PLAYED Saturday (Sam and team), we were tied in that rowdy hornet’s nest at a Top5 team with 6 minutes to go. Just imagine if we played decent/good/great what this team could/will be.
He’s a playmaker. Gonna just have to ride the highs and mitigate the lows as they come.

Why do you say that?
Ole Miss was a playoff semifinalist returning their star qb and rb, and this game was absolutely the biggest game of the year for them. Insane homecrowd advantage.
We play other highly ranked teams, but all at home.
