Missing 18 year old's body found on Horn Island - and ridiculous reactions.

Not sure if anyone else has been following this, but here is the deal:

Young man from Ocean Springs, football player at SW Miss Community College, goes missing while on a boat trip with friends out to Horn Island on the 4th of July. He was last seen on the west tip of Horn Island walking around, and has been missing since July 4th evening around 4:30 PM.

I go boating out there often and the boating community on Facebook had been spreading the word, and everyone from the police, the NPS and dozens of local volunteer boaters (and also the Cajun Navy) had been out there looking for him with boats, aircraft, and drones.

This morning they found his body in that area, floating in the water just off the northwest tip of the island. The family has positively ID'ed the body as him.

Here's the kicker. This is the guy and the friends he was with:


Yep, he was the black guy, and he couldn't swim.

So what has been the overwhelming reaction comments from people of color online (even before the body was found)?

Those white boys killed him.

This is not just a few. There are dozens and dozens of such comments:

The person who took the picture did the que to push him.! Watch….

Nyla Enroth: Molly Man , there's the Answer...humm something smells fishy ?? ?? Press those boys...js

Gary Hines --They stated a body was found. They need to arrest those friends. They know something and charge them with MURDER if he isn’t alive. This is so heartbreaking. Praying for family and friends.

Sauny Anglin -- Them people did something to him.

Diane Kelley -- Put those kids in an interrogation room for 48 hours and I guarantee one will talk and tell it all!!! They are behind it. Children your friends are not your friends!!!! They never have your best interest at heart. They secretly are jealous and never want to see you succeed!!! This generation isn't like ours where our friends were our friends to the end!!!
