It drew more viewers than every CFP game since it's inception except for the 2015 final and last year's final.
And it drew just shy of both of those.
Add the Telemundo numbers and it's well over 30.5 million average viewers with a higher peak viewership

Y'all used those numbers as support for claiming that hockey was a bigger deal in the US than soccer.
MLS has a higher number of younger viewers, which is growing at a constant rate.
David Beckham has been the best thing to happen to the MLS and American soccer. He's implemented an Academy system for MLS teams, brought high profile star power to the league (Messi being the ultimate acquisition), and drives promotional and media deals that are more beneficial to the league and it's growth than what it previously managed to get.
Him deciding to sign with LA for less money and a guaranteed ownership stake of an expansion team was the best deal MLS ever made.
