Would think you could use some schedule 40 conduit

If you have rod holders, put some 3/4” pvc together and make an arch.

Covered storage prevents sagging

I used wood. 2x4s. Basically made stands. My boat is 26’ long (no t top). One stand in the front, middle, and back. Then run 2x4s from front to back (actually 2 12’ 2x4). It makes a teepee with a boat cover.

I use two of the extendable alum and I added a vent to existing fabric that centers and holds the pole w/internal snap. Sailrite.com

I don't have a center console but do have a bowrider. I just run my bowlines in an x pattern, over the windshield, tied tightly to the rear cleats then put my cover on over that. The cover has to be a pretty snug fit for it to work.
I've also seen people just use one long pvc pole...joined with the proper fittings but not glued so you can take it apart. Whatever length you need to go from the point of the bow, over the windshield, to just over the motor. Then cover it. Kind of like a tent.

I use 1/2" pvc
4 tees and enough pipe to make two arches.
Two tees on each side of the boat connected to each other a few feet apart for stability arches connected to the tees on opposite side of the boat. Works in down pours no problems.
Originally thought I would improve it but haven't had the need.
Edit: it's a small cc skiff with a poling platform obviously would need additional arches without the poling platform.

Mine was alum bay boat. Drilled hole in console metal bar. Attached two 1 1/2 PVC arches that stretched over sides . Cover tented perfectly
