Who has been? Where did you stay? How was it? What kind of stuff is there to do? Thinking about going over Mardi Gras next year. How is the temp during that time? Thanks.

ETA: Or any other really good spot around there.

We went in 2019 in February. Weather was just about perfect. We stayed at Grace Bay. Cant remember the name of the condo's but they were directly in front of the reef at Grace Bay. We took a boat out one day, rented cars and kayaked Chalk bay. There is also a Thursday night Fish fry beach party that was a blast.

Here is a link for some suggestions.

LINK

I'm heading there in April and staying at Seven Stars. It really seems like this is more of a chill-out kind of island and not a big party scene. We have a few places picked out and have seen a lot of recommendations for the Thursday fish fry. As of now, I have two days planned to dive, one to snorkel, and one day trip to Middle Caicos. The rest is just sitting on the beach not doing a damn thing.

Enjoy Middle Caicos. It’s a fun day trip.

We stayed at The Shore Club on Long Bay Beach. Quite a few kiteboarding schools on that side of the island. Also, rent a jet ski and ride out to the La Famille Express shipwreck. You can climb up the cargo net and jump off. Wear sneaks though. The deck is rusty. And not far from there, a floating tiki bar that you can tie up to and have a few beers

Can you get around on a golf cart instead of a rental car?

I'm not aware of golf cart rentals on Providenciales. Certainly not on Middle Caicos.

Just booked for May. Will report back after that. We are older so we avoided resorts. Went with a smallish place that looks to be in walking distance to food.

Book your dinner at Coco Bistro now and thank me later. Do not wait as they get booked out for months.

Where, out of curiosity? We go almost every year, and I don't think of Turks as a very walkable type of place.

Same. Maybe around the marina where Shark Bite is?

Yeah, we were there in April of last year, and they didn't check/ask.

It's called Villa DelEvan. The fiance booked it, so she could be wrong about walking.
