Daniel Seuzeneau running for St. Tammany sheriff

Daniel Seuzeneau was named interim Slidell police chief after Randy Fandal was elected mayor of Slidell.
He mulled the idea of running after Slidell police Chief Tommy Williams took office, as several constituents pushed for him to run for sheriff.
Seuzeneau has been with the Slidell Police Department for years. He served as the police department's chief financial officer and has served as a public information officer in recent years.
Many residents in Slidell were hoping he would run for police chief.
However, he could not run for Slidell police chief because he lives outside the city limits.
Others who have announced their candidacy are David Maki, a career law enforcement officer, and former U.S. Marshal Scott Illing.
It is also rumored that former Louisiana State Police Superintendent Col. Robert Hodges may run.

Hey St Tammany, let’s try not electing a Slidell PD Chief for once as well.
I would love to get an insider to come in and sweep up a bit.

Just keep the Slidell and it's uck on that side of Lacomb.
It doesn't matter you have 30 years before the western side N.shore looks like Slidell
All these dsld and shitty neighborhood s they build will be suitable for about 10 years , also they have zero inferstruture for 10000 new homes in the next decade in the goodbee and rural covington area so the schools will get over crowded and get shitty then the crappy cheap houses will start to turn to crap and lose any value they had then the worst people will move in on section 8 and renters because this is probably a step up (sad) and then its doomed .
I send my kids yo private school anyway .
I want to move to N.C be an hour away from the mountains and an hour from the ocean.
But who cares the parish council got paid off and the contractors are about to make bank.

Serpas is a good guy and has experience at administrative and patrol levels. I guess he has better options.

Seuzeneau is the most open public official St Tammany has ever had. Goes out of his way to explain things and be very clear. He’s young comparatively, a rock solid leader, has the support of the deputies, has led SPD as interim chief with honor, list goes on. There’s a reason the Hodges (Landry) camp didn’t want Seuzeneau to run. It’s his race to lose.
