Went to Metallica/COC at the Cajundome on the Load tour in 96 or 97. That stage was insane & the stage hand getting set on fire was a good joke that 90% of the arena thought was real.

I think you’re really pushing the envelope classifying Firehouse, Warrant and freaking Trixter as metal

All three of them are glam metal bands. Hair metal bands, if you prefer that term.

SiriusXM calls it “Hair Nation” It is classified as a Metal channel along with Ozzy’s boneyard channel.

I get what y’all are saying. A lot of those glam/hair bands were called metal but the music is far from metal. Would you call AC/DC metal or just good ole rock n roll?
