It’s going to take 3-5 years for Kiffin to get his guys in place

That is not a good sign in this day and age of this sport

The program will be rolling by next season. People focus on the high end transfers, but there were a ton of depth pieces brought in during this first cycle.

They will develop and the holes will be plugged as needed.

If it takes him 5 years, he will not make it to his 5th.

Nah, it won’t.

We are substantially better in year 1 with a two week ESD and two month NSD roster.

A full offseason of evaluating, prioritizing, and recruiting is going to do wonders for this program.

I like the mindset, but it’s going to be a quicker turnaround than that

Look how many high school commits they have. It’s clear they are going to do another massive roster overhaul via the portal.

I’m fine with that strategy, but how is the patience excuse relevant in this scenario?

Your team is year to year

Now that's funny!!!

This ain't 1999. He had by far his best regular season in his 20-year career as a head coach last year with 20 new starters and a back up QB from Ferris St. that played only because of injury.

The rationalizations some folks make to defend Lane and the lengths they will go to blame any and everyone and everything else astound me.

As I've said, he may win the SEC and be our hero next year but he has some responsibility in some poor performances this year, both can be true.

This excuse is no longer applicable. He had $50,000,000 to buy the guys he wanted this year.

FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS

Fans in their 70’s and 80’s don’t have much time left for any coach to get their team in order in 3 or 4 years . But I digress.

What in the world are you talking about? Kiffin got pretty much all the guys he wanted. This is his roster. There is no more developing a roster in the nil era. What would LSU’s record be, right now, had they kept BK?

Considering Van Buren would likely be the starting QB, probably not great.

I don’t know but I bet he would’ve beaten Kentucky and maybe Ole Miss too.

Kelly was 4-11 vs. ranked teams at LSU and had no idea how to build and navigate NIL.
