OM’s Super Bowl vs LSU’s 1st SEC game

From LSU’s perspective, there are MUCH bigger games on our schedule, and the media’s frenzy has been put to bed for now.
The issues are very fixable and I trust our coaching staff to work them out with 9 games left.
Ole Miss has nothing more to get up for and will eventually take some licks going to Texas, then to OU after hosting UGA (who I think is the best team in the country). Let alone the coin flip that is rivalry week and playing a State team who appears to have a stud QB.
Haven’t felt this optimistic after a loss in a while. What would’ve been devastating in November will be ancient history by the time the 1st CFP rankings come out.

OM has a big one in the swamp next. I think they win, but wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a tight game. I’m not sure if Lacey holds up this year for them. They have worn a lot of tread off those tires. He has had to leave 2 of 3 games already.

You seem to have detailed all of Ole Miss snake pits along the way. You conveniently leave out the fact that we play multiple good offenses with mobile QBs and have a defensive coordinator that has no idea how to stop any of it. Reed has made a joke out of Baker's defense 2 years in a row. Go ahead and try to forecast college football playoff rankings, I can't see past next week.

This. Everyone had that game circled on their calendar. Even though it really is just one game. It’s just one game for both teams.

It's time to revamp the offensive line, there's got to be better lineman on the roster. I don't know if you can fix Baker's vanilla defensive philosophy

OM is going to have serious problems this week going to the swamp,especially after their SB.Its very difficult to get up after the kind of build up and emotion one week to the next.Take fla and the pts.If OM wins impressively then they are a really good team.

They not winning that game they have a bad defense. Leavitt can’t hit an open receiver to take advantage like Florida will.

Timing on routes and downfield connections will get better.
Defense will not see a more dynamic player all year, and our guys will learn lessons on spacing with a mobile QB.
I don’t think Gage is RB2, based on tape you might see a shuffle there.
