I’m 10x more upset at the thought of losing Trey’dez than losing the game

We fought back and left enough plays on the field to say we beat ourselves in the 2nd half.
3rd game of a new regime against the best player in CFB by far.

Conversely, I want to be optimistic about 7 but it’s hard to ignore what transpired after he went down.

Praying for him and Spears!
Still have a whole season ahead of us.

Yeah Green would be a huge loss. Irreplaceable. We literally could have went to him that whole drive and scored the go ahead TD.

Lost two of our best players in a blowout lost. We have been snake bitten since 2019. I swear Ed O sold his soul to the devil

As great as he is, if losing one player (other than your superstar QB) changes the outlook of the season, losing that player isn't the real issue.

Skill position is the area we are weakest. Long term I agree with you but this year with how little time they had to build the roster we just don’t have difference makers there. And especially TE we have essentially no backup

It's a much bigger deal relative to the season.

We can afford the loss. I don't think this team has the offensive talent to overcome losing Green.

That’s what I said. I’d have rather just lost than lose one of our most important players.

Yes same. Given it was Kiffin’s first year at LSU with 40+ new players I thought it almost impossible to go undefeated. I thought 2 losses, look good, make the playoffs and see what happens. I thought the Ole Miss game was likely a loss given it was early in the season, on the road, extremely motivated opponent and NFL caliber QB and RB. If Green is out for the year that will hurt a lot more than this loss.

Arguably Spears makes the play for the touchdown before half, and Green makes the TD at the end of the game.

Two brutal losses
