Funny how we don't hear anything about the great Tommy Moffitt this year. Guy is egotistical and had to make it about himself last year. Fact is his last several years at LSU the teams were not physical and lacked the killer instinct his Saban and Miles' teams had. BK was right to let him go and last year's arse whooping had more to do with BK being a disaster than it did to do with Tommy Moffitt.

Saw him pregame on LSU sideline taking a group picture with former tiger players. I bet he misses us but I like Savage so far. Young, energetic and seems to have a good system for what Lane is looking for.

BK was not wrong in getting rid of Moffit. Don’t know why people are saying BK did him dirty. BK just didn’t backfill the position with anyone worth a damn.

I saw that Jake Flint is on the Strength and Conditioning team with the Minnesota Vikings. He seemed like a nice guy but thought he was soft and weak for our program.

Pretty sure the story goes that BK told Moffitt he would be retained then told him to pack his shite a few days later.
Lots on the board are hard asses with short memories and act like Moffitt wasn’t the rock that allowed LSU to play for 4 championships in 20 years.
As far as the face on the tackling dummy, did we not have the same opinion on BK after the A&M game last year?

Yes, I’m appreciative of what moffitt did for us but he should appreciate what we did for him as well. The way he acted before and after last years game was beyond ridiculous

Tommy is still one of the best in the business. We got soft for several reasons:
1. O wasn’t detail oriented— several players spoke about that in the early days they had no idea about nutrition plans and workout requirements
2. Player messaging gets stale over time
Last year’s mouthy response from him was more about how BK fired him, much less so that he was fired.

Two things can be true at once. Tommy Moffit was, for a while, an excellent strength and conditioning coach, AND he showed his arse last year in Tiger Stadium, which professionally is not a good look at all. I would be surprised if he ever got hired by anybody else after his Texas A&M stint.
