Ruzic is the better option at the center position and it isn't close. Ruzic is so athletic and flies around the floor. He's up getting rebounds above the rim. He has great hands. Makes great passes. Dessert by comparison has bricks for hands and is running around in concrete shoes. He has a hard time getting above the rim.

We've had two good runs all game. Both were with Ruzic on the floor. Dessert is a good big but isn't as dynamic as Ruzic.

1000 percent agree. Dude is a stud and athletic as hell. Reminds me of that cat from UF from two seasons ago.

You’re gonna need both throughout the season. Ruzic is special I agree, but Dessert brings much needed size and is a good defender.

I think you’ll see both of them on the court together especially against longer teams.

I agree with you. Need them both, but I think Ruzic will win you games.

I would think Dessert may start, but Ruzic will get more PT and most likely be in your closing lineup to finish a game.

Why do we need to stack LSU players against LSU players? They will both play a large role in our success. They are two different types of players, with different strengths. We will need both and both will contribute.

I agree. Just an observation.

Not to sidetrack the thread but Pearson must be really bad. Hes been eligible since the start and I dont recall him stepping on the floor yet in any game.

Wade has already said that it’s going to take Dessert a bit to get up to speed overall.

He's a legit freshman I think. Hard to get playing time with all the older players. I think Ruzic is a bit older than a typical freshman, right?

I agree with the OP here, at this exact moment. I think that by the time SEC play starts though, Dessert will be a completely different player than what were seeing right now. In a good way. And if we can have both Ruzic and dessert playing at an extremely high level then we are gone be a legit force

I hope so. I love the potential. He's a huge guy. He would be a great contrast to have with Ruzic.

That’s a bit disappointing considering the other Euros already appear to be there. You’ll need Dessert, but it’s hard not to play Ruzic 30+ mpg. He’s been consistently good from game one

Is it possible he ends up All SEC or at least the freshman team?

He mentioned that Ruzic's game is a bit easier to transition to college MBB than Dessert. Paraphrasing of course, but that was the gist. That's Wade, I'm not opining, but Wade knows the team and players better than us.

Ruzic is better, that’s why he will play more, and has played more lol

Ruzic? I guess. I'm no expert, but he's pretty smooth.
