Any of you guys own a Redfield gun safe? There are really good deals in my town at Academy. Only bad thing I have heard is bad battery life.

I have three and love them. For the price they are fantastic. I took the keypad off of two of them and only use the keys. I keep the keys well hidden and out of reach.
I never had an issue with rust or moisture. I only use the desiccant containers.
Never had an issue with the batteries. I just prefer using the keys.

I have one and like it. Primarily objective is to keep guns and valuables from children/guests and it serves that purpose. No, it’s probably not fire or serious home intruder proof but it beats having them under my bed.

I went to get the 24 gun Redfield safe and right next to it, they had the 30 gun Redfield on sale for just $50 more. I thought it was a no brainer to spend the extra $50 for the extra space.
