I believe it is time for the LSU Admin to address the Band / DJ situation. This is a situation discussed here (and I am sure other places) after every single home game and there seems to be a large consensus that people want more Band and less DJ. Has anyone with ties to LSU Administration heard anything on the topic? If so, what did you hear.

It is so frustrating that something can be discussed in a negative way after every single home game (with a large consensus) for years now and we have never heard LSU Admin address the situation. How is there such a barrier between paying fans and the product they receive? (another ex: concessions).

Don’t mean to be all negative but I feel the Fan Base deserves communication from LSU Admin on this.

Here we go again after every home game. The DJ situation will not go away as long as students continue with the vulgar chants! This topic has been beat into the ground.

The five second blasting of weird noises on defense between every play is new. It takes the fans out of the game. Why yell when you can’t hear yourself think. Then when they stop the noises, only 20 percent of the fans are engaged. The whole thing needs to go back how it was. They also brought field level speakers this game and luckily the one by us did not work.

They played over the fricking fight song yesterday.

The PA system is way too loud. When the band plays, I get pumped. When the crap "music" clip starts between plays, I feel let down. The powers that be apparently don't really care about longtime fans' experience in the stadium.

The loud, shitty speaker music has deteriorated the game day experience so significantly that it’s hardly recognizable compared to when I was a kid. Not to mention the curse word filled rap music blasting out of most tailgates. Figured it would be a good idea to take my young son to the game yesterday since it was 11:00 kick-off and I quickly regretted it.

This topic needs discussion until it is rectified. I will not likely return for a home game again. Last year was disgusting. Lowest common denominator type activity around tailgating that continued into the stadium with foul chants and obnoxious DJ blaring.

NB4 go home gramps. Gutter behavior is what it is. No thanks.

I was very much of the “who cares” mindset until yesterday when I noticed I barely remembered hearing the band at all. It wasn’t that they just weren’t playing. It that they were and the music was just playing over them. Then I watched the Tennessee game and you could hear the band prevalently throughout the game.

I’m not anti-piped in music. But I now agree that the pendulum has swung too far in the wrong direction

One thing I noticed yesterday was that Lane's no huddle offense kept the band from playing much.
1st down.. they'd start up but then have to quickly end because the next play was up.

I’ve been hearing BYU in game experience being praised by several of these YouTube types that travel the country to a big game each week. I have never really paid attention to a BYU game but last night seemed like a really good example of what I’ve been hearing. The band sounded great and seems they had several different quick hitter songs throughout the game. The piped in music also sounded great and it didn’t seem over bearing to where it actually engaged the crowd instead of drown it out. Granted this was a huge game for them and I only had a TV view. Tiger Stadium also looks amazing on TV for a big game but it did seem the quality and rhythm of the band/music was cleaner for BYU. Anyone attend the Ole Miss game this year because the word is they took after the BYU model?
