Yordan is the best pure hitter in baseball. Hits for average, hits for power, hits to all fields, gets on base, doesn't strike out much.
His true ceiling strictly in terms of counting stats has been capped by some injuries, so he's not often put together the full season statlines that other big sluggers like Ohtani and Judge have, but he's in their class nonetheless.

Intresting. Although my ear is “untrained”, although i would like to think i know my stuff, being a one time serious ballplayer myself, i have to question the legitamacy, if not, if i can be so bold, the ethicality of his bat. Seems pretty hot and possibly ilegal!

For anyone who actually stayed up to watch those 2 bad teams compete, it should have apparent from the beginning that the sound coming from all batted balls was different.
It was mentioned in the thread covering the game.
I'm not sure if the ump was wearing the mic or some other anomaly was in play, but well struck balls sounded like they cracked the bat all night.
