Michael Phelps arrived back in the states on Wednesday and was unknowingly greeted but the peeps at Good Morning Arizona at the airport, who were looking for a live interview. That's when Phelps wasn't having it. This is awkward...

He acknowledged as much and offered to do an interview when they contact his agent. Regardless, it was BS this news station chose to attempt an unannounced live interview directly after a long flight. At least have the courtesy to tape it or delay feed during an ambush interview.

MIchael handled this situation very well. The reporter was also doing job, but MIchael was sensitive to the reporter's obligations while also being a leader for his family. Good on him.
