Michigan High School Protesting Game Over 'Sportsmanship' Because Player Scored 16 Goals

Kevin Hubbell of Benzie Central, one of the best players in the state, scored 16 goals against Kingsley. The Sept. 29 game was declared over at halftime — a 17-0 wipeout of a winless team.

That’s why some people are upset.

“To go after a personal record like that at the cost of another team’s dignity was a little uncalled for,” Kingsley coach Tim VanWingerden said. “Soccer is not the right place for that. Soccer is a gentleman’s sport.”

This is why most people think soccer players are pussies. If the players didn’t like it, a full back should have slid the guy a couple of times. He’ll stop scoring if he worries about having an intact knee.

Suck it up, coach. We've lost in a couple of blowouts in the high school football playoffs to eventual state champions and lived with results. So many soft people in sports over the years. fricking clown world.
