Tulane's New 'SEC Champs' Helmet Decal Is Going Viral After Lane Kiffin's Comments
Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin referred to Tulane as an “SEC opponent” ahead of their matchup this weekend. As one of the flagship members of the SEC in 1932, Tulane went on to win conference titles in 1934, 1939 and 1949. So, in response to Kiffin’s SEC comments, the Green Wave had some special helmet decals made up to commemorate those three championships...

Ole Miss should put their SEC Champion stickers on their helmets to counter this.

If Oklahoma and Texas can be in the SEC, why not Tulane?

I miss back in the day when LSU Tulane every year was a huge rivalry

Good times those were.

Tulane can freaking score. They put up 35 on Oklahoma and 69 on a FCS opponent. I could see Ole Miss in a shootout. Corral might finish with 500+ yards and 6+ TDs.

Good stuff

Isn't that more SEC titles than A&M, Kentucky and Vandy combined?

Throw in Mizzou and USCe too.

Tulane has played in as many SEC championship games as Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has played in and won 6 SEC Championship games.

Lol no they haven’t, you retard. Championship game started in 1992. Last conference title for Ole Miss was 1963.

The fact is that Tulane has won 3 SEC titles, and Ole Miss has won 6, no matter how you phrase it. JQ phrased it as championship games. Ole Miss has won enough games 6 different years to win the SEC title.

If anyone enjoys a good troll, I'm sure it's Lane Kiffin. Lane better watch out because Tulane might have a few surprises for them.

Good stuff. There was a time when Tulane was a good football program. Then they gave up for the most part. Kind of like Vandy.

Tulane has had a few good seasons, but never what you would call a "good football program." LINK

What's more impressive is the "P6" under the AAC logo.

Would love to have them back in the conference. Remember when we played them as our in state rival. Great games.

IDK about having them in the conference, but it would be great to play them more often as the rivalry game.

Home and home with maybe 4 for 1.

Still more SEC championships than the Mississippi schools combined

Read up on OM football before you try to be funny. They were “the” program under Coach Vaught. Yeah, it’s been some time, but double what Tulane has

@Fightin Okra No one cares

@Fightin Okra this magical time period is when blacks weren’t allowed to play in the SEC. Now review their record since then.
