It’s incredibly easy to navigate. You can walk and never use the tram. I do it all the time. I make 30-35 min connections regularly.

Best to me is ease of use and has conveniences if I get stuck there. Worst is pure chaos

LAX is fine if you are flying Delta. The new lounge is very large and nice.

Doha is solid. Especially with the pool and gym/spa on the third floor. Singapore is also impressive.

Best Domestic: SEA, DTW, BNA.

Worst Domestic: DEN (security lines are always a disaster there). ORD, not terminal 5.

Best international: HND, NRT,

Worst: CDG

Dislike MSP and detest EWR. Also Sky Harbor PHX blows.

Like ATL and DTW, also ORD ain't bad considering how many flights go through. New MSY isn't bad if they would smooth a few things out.

I'm fine with it being my base airport but there's always some construction project. They are going to work on improving T1.

T2 is great when non Delta flights are in play

How on earth can anyone say the tram(plane train) "takes forever?"

You can get from concourse T to F in about 5 minutes. It's an incredibly efficient airport especially given how busy it is.

The problem I have with Detroit is the rental car situation. You have to get on a bus to get to the lot and it feels like it takes a while. Other than that, it’s a great airport.

For large airports, I like PHX. It’s pretty easy to get through security and getting to the rental car garage will get better once they get the train up and running. Plenty of good food options and the concourses are short which means I can get to the gate with minimal walking.

The train connects to the rental car center now. No more buses.

Never had a complaint about PHX. Lots of flight options all over the country, and to Mexico and Canada. Flights to Europe leave something to be desired, though. Rare to have a weather delay (in Phoenix), fantastic local food options, close to downtown, accessible via the light rail if that is your preferred mode of transportation, and new terminals.

I am thinking people who aren't fans haven't been since terminal 3 and 4 were totally renovated. The old terminal 2, and old parts of 3 were in rough shape.

Just about every American airport feels a shithole once you've travelled internationally. The few exceptions, in my opinion, are Tampa, Indianapolis, and Orange County/Irvine. Long Beach and Burbank also have a cool retro feel for those who want to avoid LAX at all costs.

As for international travel, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei, Istanbul, and the two Tokyo airports are highlights. I haven't had the opportunity to fly to Doha or Dubai, but I've heard good things.

Singapore, in particular, is just magnificent.

That's the case for me. My trauma is from the past so if it's improved any that's a big change for the better

Domestic best:
Tampa. Open, airy and easy to navigate.

Domestic worst:
Boston. Just a mess.

International best:
Doha. Gorgeous airport.

International worst:

CDG. Impossible to navigate. It’s as if they deliberately built it to make you miss your connection and lose your luggage.

Best lounges:

Love the Upper Class Wing at Heathrow. But the absolute best that I’ve seen is the first class lounge at DBX.

Istanbul? It's new and nice, but it's not terribly efficient. Holy shite the walking. Which is after a winding bus ride from your plane.

I did appreciate the transit customs for business class though but I had to cross the entire length of the regular lines to get to it on the far side, which had to be at least a football field in length.

Flew out Saturday night after Thanksgiving and they didn't have enough staff so Clear and Precheck were closed. Total shite show.
