Worst: ORD or SLC(if you aren't flying Delta). DEN is great for a connection not so much if you have to deal with security and the other BS.
I now get what Cuse was talking about, MCO is the new worst. Got my bags quick at least but it is so cramped.

Dom Best: Charlotte, Newark, DFW
Dom Worst: Miami, ATL, Chicago
Int Best: All the ones in Asia
Int Worst: Rome
I don’t fly Delta just so that I don’t have go to ATL. All the Florida airports are bad IMO. I fly through Charlotte to avoid Miami even though it’s often out of my way.
Smaller airports like Savannah, Providence, and Boise are usually easy to get in and out of when traveling. Getting to and from Denver is a bit of a pain. I’m hoping the improvements to Denver make the airport better.

Worst
Naples, Italy.
The most Third World airport I have been to outside of the Third World.
Best
Venice
Nothing great about the airport itself but it is pretty cool being taken to the airport by boat.

To update my post based upon my experience of today.
Worst airport to navigate is Paris CDG.
Best is MSY. No problems with the airport and they have excellent food and drink options.

Nice. I never hear anything good about it.
Haneda was great today. Plane touched down at 3:00pm
By 4:20pm, I had gone through immigration, taken train to Shinagawa, and boarded the Shinkasen even though I fricked up that last part and needed assistance.
I'm like 10 minutes from Kyoto already. Some places you may still be stuck at the airport

After this last weekend, I'm adding FLL to the worst list (at least the Delta terminal). Between 7 cruise ships, I'd estimate about 15,000 people disembarked with literally nowhere else to go showed up at FLL around 9am. Most of our flights weren't until the late afternoon and they wouldn't let us back until 3 hours before flight
It was like a refugee camp- people laying on the floor, both in baggage claim and the check in area, lines out the door, people fighting over the few pre-made sandwiches in the single Hudson news store. We ended up just hanging out at a nearby mall but good lord, for the amount of cruise traffic that place gets, the airport is shameful in its accommodations.
Once you get through security, there's a sushi bar and one restaurant selling shitty food. I counted 18 bar seats in total... The gates are a nightmare- giant room on each side and it feels like a DMV. Also, Delta made it impossible for anyone to get into the Sky Club which probably would've relived some of the crowd
Overall, just a terrible experience.

I had an unexpected 9 hour layover heading to Hawaii at Houston George Bush and it was horrendous. Every bathroom I went in stunk like shite and had toilets out of commission and overflowing
Thought this was a new thread, read my post thinking it was someone else and thought damn he must have been on my flight.

like the new Dallas Love so much, I never book to fly out of D/FW.
Respectfully disagree. I am equal distance to both so I will choose whatever works for my trip. However, I do prefer DFW.

Don't really have any terrible experiences with domestic airports but I always enjoy connecting through Atlanta even though so many people hate ATL
for International Doha is awesome. It doesn't even feel like an airport
I connect through Toronto almost once a month and seriously hate it. I started switching to connecting through Montreal and it is such a better experience
Paris is also a bitch to connect through from the few times I went through. The layout makes zero sense and the line for the bus to switch terminals took forever

Flew in and out of FLL today on Delta.
Typical Florida with half the people seeming like it was their first time flying.
Otherwise I didn’t find it too bad.

Domestic
Best -- Atlanta. Super easy to get around and efficient.
Worst -- Dulles. Place is awful.
International
Best -- nothing overwhelming amazing comes to mind, but Emirates business lounges in DXB were amazing.
Worst -- EZE in Buenos Aires had me stressed out that I would miss my flight as only two attendants checking 2 777 worth of luggage for American. Luckily some more showed up an hour before, but was in line at least 2 hours...would have been screwed, except got there pretty early.
