I've stayed there, it's a nice resort and an easy walk to the parks.

1. Find a face painter.

2. Have him paint a mask on your face

3. Enjoy your vacation

You can take them off when you ready to eat their $30 hamburger.

We were there Jan. 1st. It is mandatory to wear a mask. I saw a person with the mask below the chin, and an employee called him out and told him to wear it properly. Also, the lines for the rides are 6' social distancing per group so the line will appear longer than what they are.
Other than that, have fun. The Jimmy Fallon ride is probably the best one.

You hitting any other attractions while you are there? Seaworld is just 5 minutes down the road, tons of fun places in between the two.

plan on wearing a mask the entire time you’re in the park.

Hagrids motorbike at islands of adventure was by far our favorite of all the parks.

Jimmy fallon ride made me nauseous.

Its steep but I strongly suggest the fast passes.

Mandatory masks.
Bossed around by people who wear costumes to work.
Social distancing.

"We were there Jan. 1st." As a punishment?

We went 2 summers ago.

Loved all the Harry Potter rides, jimmy fallon, transformers, hulk, pretty much every ride.

Since you’re staying in a property hotel you’ll get universal fast pass free with your hotel stay.

I did have to take some Dramamine after the 2nd or 3rd 3/4D ride we rode. Otherwise we had a blast.

We also went back to our rooms and ate lunch (we went to Walmart and bought the stuff for sandwiches) and ate out at night. About $300-$350 each night for 7 people.

I've stayed at the Royal Pacific twice (one personal trip and one business meeting), and I like it very much. The best part, though is the free express passes and early admission into Harry Potter.

That’s the one we stayed at and it’s very nice. A short walk or water taxi ride to the parks.

We went beginning of Jan. Masks are enforced pretty heavily, but didn’t really ruin the experience. The new Hagrids roller coaster is awesome, you can’t use express passes on it, but they have a virtual line that you need to book on the app. But here’s a tip, you can do it from your hotel right when the parks open since you’re staying onsite, no need to physically be in the park. We didn’t have too hard of a time sitting down to eat at restaurants, but you are able to make reservations on the app, I like Mythos in IOA, and the Irish Pub in Universal.

Maybe one of the best all-around rides in the U.S.
I'd never been on a ride that utilized magnets for the zip.
The Mummy is a very good ride.
For vertigo, Simpsons will spin your head bad.
Put King Kong at A.I. on the bottom of the ride list.
Went July 4th, the first weekend open.
No fast pass. Rode everything 2 - 3 times. Place was empty.

We will also be there during that time. We will get there Feb 13th and come back to louisiana either the 20th or 21st. We won't be at resort but from 13th-18th. My sister and brother-in-law just moved down to Cape Canaveral for his job. We are going to spend a couple days there and see NASA and some other things.

Thanks for whoever said Sea World. I didn't think of that.

You won't be served at any bar in your resort without a mask and each day they will take your temp and give you a wristband which then prevents your from having your temp taken at city walk so that will save you time.

At Volcano Bay you have to wear your mask into the park but then you can take it off BUT you have to wear it when walking up to restaurants and bars.

When you're walking around outside at your resort you can probably take it off but in the park, unless your eating or drinking, you need to wear it.

To answer the question, they enforce their mask mandate so I wouldn't expect it to look like Buc-ee's on a saturday morning.

Does Universal still do free fast pass if you are staying at a Universal hotel?
