Thanks Cuse. Do you work for an airline?

What are the odds I make that flight?

Inbound for that MSY-MIA flight comes in wednesday night, which may be iffy. Keep an eye out for a waiver

My in-laws are coming from SC on 6/21/18 to MSY with a arrival time of 11:25PM and my BIL is coming in from DC to MSY same date with a arrival time of 9:PM ish. Is it safe to say they will likely experience some delays or even make it in at all?

Cuse, I need to get from Lafayette to Dallas tomorrow. You think I would have a better chance moving my flight to the morning? My current flight is on American at 6:35pm

Yeah from IAD. Supposed to land at 8pm. I am plat with AA so as soon as that waiver hits I am going to see if I can get routed that day.

Haven't seen anyone ask about flights out of BTR, I've got one booked that is supposed to take off tomorrow around 2.

I'm not sure how this weather is supposed to affect the BR area, but can anyone tell me what the chances are of that flight still happening?

Southwest has issued a waiver for flights into New Orleans between today and Thursday.

I'll guess the airlines try and make it, but a delay may be likely

Considering the center of the low looks to be headed towards laffy around wed night/thurs morning, the earlier you get out the better

I think they worded it funny and incorrect. It should say from noon tuesday through thursday. Call them up now and see if you can be rescheduled for today or friday.

ETA: Actually, anyone who booked their southwest trip online try and change it online. It shouldn't charge you anything based on what they posted in the waiver

As of 11:37am, southwest is the only airline with a waiver up. I'm trying to convince my friend at jetblue to post one for them but no luck so far

How's the 6:45 pm flight tonight looking now? (MSY-DEN) It's showing on time and the inbound flight doesn't seem delayed

It's gonna rain the rest of the day at MSY it looks like with 100% chance of rain from 3-6pm. As long as there's no thunderstorms and it's just light rain like now then you should be fine. The fact that your inbound is coming from denver is probably a good thing since it's flying half-way across the country and likely wouldn't turn back in inclement weather. As long as it takes off you should be good to go

I'm in Barcelona now but flying out on Delta Thursday morning, connecting in ATL and flying into Nola at 5:30 pm Thursday . I'm wondering if I'll be stuck in Atlanta. I would so much rather be delayed in Barcelona than Atlanta.

I will keep you updated on any Delta waiver that shows up since I'm flying them friday morning. If I had to guess, they'll post one later this afternoon or tonight once they get a better idea of the potential impacts from the storm (or once the weather channel names this system a tropical storm instead of tropical depression). If this happens, just reschedule for friday or saturday if you want a few extra days in BCN

DL will post one soon since it just became a named storm.

That seems to be the threshold for DL in the Southeast for summer weather waivers.

NYC area gets one if someone sneezes.

Forgive my ignorance...should I be looking to change an 8 a.m. Southwest flight out of MSY Thursday morning? Or should I gamble and hope the flight has no issues?
