Hey just looking for fun ideas to do in Las Vegas in addition to gambling and drinking all day. Will be there this summer with a few friends and we are trying to find fun things to do.

Obligatory hookers and blow. All boys trip?

In lieu of the usual hookers and blow suggestion, I am going to suggest prostitutes and cocaine.
No seriously, just walking from hotel to hotel and checking them out is entertainment in itself, you don’t have to gamble or buy anything.

Check out the shows. Absinthe is great and if you like magic shin lim is very good.
The vegas car track where you can pay to drive a few laps in a ferrari or pretty much any supercar. They also have a dirt track to drive a truck on.
Smoke weed
Go watch puppetry of the penis

Freemont St and the Grand Canyon were the only two things I enjoyed.

Eat an edible and walk around and people watch.

Spring Mountain Motorsports in Pahrump, certainly worth the drive

I went in May and I’m already thinking about going back in August. It’s just so ridiculously cheap. I can go from Sunday to Thursday and stay a Ballys where I like the poker room for less than 400 dollars with the flight and resort fees included. Then it’s like a 100 bucks to check a bag too, so like 500 bucks total.
If I wanted to drive an hour to Tunica and stay there from Sunday to Thursday, just the hotel costs more than that.
I think I’m hooked.

I can get a room comped at MGM not counting resort fees and taxes. I’d be flying out of Nashville and round trip Southwest is around $500. I’m going to Biloxi with Dad in 10 days so if I get lucky, might head there in September.

Nashville flights are that expensive? Out of Memphis, they are dirt cheap. Allegiant, Frontier, Spirit, you can get for under $200 even with checking bags.
Enjoy Biloxi. Not sure if you play poker but if you do, I’d appreciate an update about the Beau Rivage poker room. It was absolute trash when I went there last year, ruined my trip.

Any of the various shows or concerts are great.
See Vegas from up high. Hit up the 107 Lounge for happy hour on your way downtown to Fremont. You get to walk up to the outside viewing area for free from the lounge. If not, the 107 Lounge (Top of the Stratosphere), then maybe the High Roller or High Roller happy half hour. You can usually find cheaper tickets on LivingSocial or Groupon. The Foundation Room is nice for views as well, but a little nicer bar. Do any of these near sunset to see the sunset and the Vegas lights.

Walrus,
Me and Dad will likely stop there and check out the craps limits. Maybe go eat the buffet if it’s open. I’ll check the poker room out for ya. Last year about this time they had one table open. The mask mandate was over to.
I quit playing poker a long time ago. I was a degenerate gambler in my mid to late 20’s cause of the poker boom. I go to have fun and throw dice and maybe play some blackjack or roulette.
Nashville has a major population problem. Housing market is chaos. Spirit does have cheap flights including nonstop to Vegas, but BNA is figuratively a Southwest airport. They basically built Concourse D just to house Southwest’s 737’s. Southwest, American, Alaska and Allegiant is in the South Terminal and everyone else is on the North crammed in. They have one of the smallest Delta Sky Clubs in the country to.
