Pop-up canopy on Orange Beach

It's been a while since I've been to Orange Beach. I know every chair/umbrella rental provider always put up signs saying no tents in front of their chairs, but is that an actual law/regulation?
Like, if I throw out a pop up canopy in front of the beach chairs at Phoenix and the chair guy threatens to call the cops, am I in the clear?

I’m never clear in the rules either as I think sometimes it varies by property.
When we were staying there three weeks ago it wasn’t an issue really for someone to just go 30 yards to the right or left to not block the chairs because the beach wasn’t that crowded.
Ole LSU baws that we’re staying where we were of course were down by 6:00 every morning putting up his LSU tent, National champions flag and pole up, as well as 10 chairs right in front and center. LOL

No tents larger than 12x12 and cant leave stuff on beach one hour after sunset. Orange Beach PD has a complete list on their FB page.

No man, I don't know about alabama rules but that's actually contracted. In Florida you own the beach to mean high tide mark, the beach chair companies are contracted by the property owners to get the front of the property nearest the beach.
Every property is different, some have their own areas where canopies can go anywhere some don't allow at all.
But long story short if beach service tells you that they are correct.

Good feedback. I'm probably going to just get a large umbrella anyways. They're much easier to carry down to the beach and pack up. It always happens that the family sleeps in late or goes up before me at the end of day and I'm toting it all back myself...

Yeah I gave up on the canopy a few years back. Lately I’ve been just bringing my umbrella or renting one.
My wife just ordered us a lightweight smaller canopy thing from a company called Coolcabanas. It’s like 10 pounds and easy to deal with.

Public accesses have no restrictions

I just rent them now.
It’s expensive, but it’s easy.

Nothing like the jackasses that get up at 6am and go dump their crap right near the water line in front of everyone and then go up to the condo till 11am. OB pd will take your shite that you leave out after sunset.

Look up cool cabanas, no stakes or extensive metal... walls are held up by sand on the legs, can be set up by self in less than 5 minutes. Been using mine for 4 years without any issues. Might need 2 if you have bigger family

It’s bad in some places. I move their shite to the side. No ones ever said anything to me but you’ll catch some dirty looks when the dumbasses finally come down.

I'm one is these guys, kind of. I'll go down at 6:30am, set up my stuff on the water line, and hang out and smoke a cigar while waiting for everyone to come down after breakfast.
I had some Karen walking past asked me to put it out. I told her to go frick herself. The balls on some people. I purposely smoked a cigar early specifically so I wouldn't bother people with the smoke.

The jackasses that stroll down from the nearby condo and set up in front of our house are far worse. We've taken to setting up our tents and chairs right next to them and playing our music extremely loud. They usually get the hint.
