This could be an impossible question but, my daughter, is going to, the above, with a total of 24 girls. A service/bus is being provided to drive all 24 girls, at the same time, wherever they need to go, in NO.
I know, I know. Tell them to cancel.
My question is, outside of the French Quarter, what other areas/bars can they go to and have fun? TIA.

If the weather is nice, Wring Iron and Bayou Beer Garden are great with plenty of outside seating and great atmospheres.

Depending on the time of the year, there will be festivals happening.

They probably shouldn't even do much in the FQ.

Uptown in the magazine street corridor would be much better for them. Lots of boutique shopping, restaurants, bars etc. Magazine in between Washington and Louisiana is particularly walkable.

Frenchmen Street in the Marigny is ok for live music but do not wander too far away.

A place like Wrong Iron in midcity during the day is nice, or Tchoup Yard uptown.

Bacchanal is wonderful for a group like that at night. A wine shop with a beautiful yard, great wine, food, and live music. Do not wander, get dropped off and picked up.

The Warehouse District not far from the Convention Center is also filled with restaurants and bars.

Good lord at the drama that will ensue. How do they collaborate and get everyone on the same page for a group that size ?

I’m not sure what the girls expect, but when 24 people show up to a small uptown bar or restaurant unannounced, they will be overwhelmed for a while.

They would be better off staying a night at Beau Rivage or getting stupid at the Flora Bama.

Absolutely not the French Quarter

Fat Harry’s/Superior Seafood/Superior Grill (St Charles parade area)

Lula, Tacos and Beer, Hot Tin, Beaded Oak (Other end St Charles)

The Vintage, Bulldog, Rum House, Joey K’s (Magazine/Uptown area)

The Tchoup Yard

Wrong Iron, Bayou Beer Garden

Farthest into FQ they should go is Vintage Rock Club or Sazerac Bar

Not to be nit picky, but neither of these are in the FQ.

Wrong Iron during the day, Fat Harry's evening, Grits/ F&Ms, then the Saint. That's an entire day of activities right there.

The Allways Bar and Caberet
This would be perfect if they have a bus.

A daytime swamp tour if booked ahead might be okay.

There are tasting tours available in the city.

Lots of good suggestions above.

If they want a good dinner while maintaining the party atmosphere, there is no better place than Galatoire's. You said you wanted to avoid the French Quarter, but I have seen many bachelorette parties there and the girls seem to have a blast. You would have to talk to them about reserving one or two tables downstairs.
For drinks after, they could go around the corner to the Davenport Lounge in the Ritz Carlton.

This may be unwieldy for 24 girls, but it is my recommendation.

No chance Davenport Lounge can accommodate 24 on a weekend

I totally blanked out on those. Yeah NOPSI, Ace Hotel, and a few other hotels have them. Hot Tim Roof is good.
The problem is that with this big of a group, someone is going to have to do some planning and set something up with the establishments almost anywhere they go.

There’s a 99% chance they will have a great time with no incidents. Don’t let the OT poison your brain. NOLA is a shitty place to live, but excellent for a long weekend of partying.

To OP, I second telling them to reserve Bacchanal. Going down Tchoup the breweries are awesome (Port Orleans, Meil, NOLA, and Urban South) and you have Barracuda with their big outdoor area for them to get margaritas and a stop at Tchoup Yard.

Honestly with a group that size if the weather is nice going hang out at the Fly for a few hours would be fun.

If they are struggling to get a restaurant reservation, assuming staying in an Airbnb, Rock n Sake does in home sushi chef catering which I’ve done before and it’s an awesome experience.

I would edit to farthest on the outskirts of the FQ. Point being the FQ is not all there is to New Orleans.
