Anyone flying out MSY better be prepared. No parking available except at old airport. I will be missing my flight at 10:25. Cannot even imagine what tsa will look like

On a normal day the TSA precheck line is as long as the regular line.

Yeah, there are actually something like 800 less parking spots than the previous airport. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Somehow most people can plan more than a day before their flights to either parking with one of the shuttle service lots or get transportation(Uber) to the airport.

I would advise everyone that is parking at MSY to get there at least two hours early. Long been known that the parking situation is fricked.

It was like that last Thursday. I found a spot in the open ground lot near departure drop off. Once I saw that short term and long term were full, I went to the ground lot to see if I could get lucky before heading to the old airport.
