Going with the whole family (8 adults, 7 kids) to Lake Hamilton next summer and staying at a lake house. Doing some research on other things to do and good restaurants around the area. Any recommendation are welcomed and appreciated!

A few years ago we rented a condo on Lake Hamilton and really enjoyed the whole area. Boat rental was pretty reasonable.
A little bit south is Lake Catherine which has great hiking trails.
There is a brewery in one of the old Bath Houses in Hot Springs that had pretty good food. I know people speak highly of the pizza place there too.

Lake Catherine State Park has some nice hikes and a waterfall. Definitely see Garvan Gardens. We did a tubing trip on Caddo River. Superior Bathhouse Brewery was very good food and beer.
If you want to book spa at the hot springs, book early, they filled up fast when we were there.

Delucas is the popular pizza place downtown. If you are trying to go for dinner or on a weekend, make reservations. Grateful Head Pizza is also very good and easier to get into.
Rent a boat and cruise around the lake. It's incredible some of the houses on that lake.
Plenty of good hiking around that area. Also some pretty cool ziplining courses if the kids are old enough.

No vacation to Hot Springs is complete without eating at Superior Bathhouse Brewery, Steinhaus Keller and drinking some margaritas on the side of the mountain at Rolando's.

Went about 10 years ago. Rent a pontoon boat for at least 1-2 days. Drive up to Lake Ouachita state park. You can do sunset canoe and they have family friendly hiking trails. Garvan gardens and the Anthony Chapel is beautiful.
I do remember something about not swimming by the boat docks because of potential shock???

Hikes around the national park are pretty light, would be great for a larger group.
Bubaloo's downtown right across from the bathhouses is a good lunch spot for burgers and fries. Like others have said, Deluca's is a great pizza spot, just plan on a wait with a large group like that.
We did a canoe float trip with the kids when we went. Youngest was 4 and handled it pretty well. Took about 4 hours, packed a lunch and ate at a sandbar, didn't have to rush to get through.

Sam's Pizza (you can go by boat or car). Great place to eat if you are on a party barge and get hungry. We love Cajun Broilers also. Be sure to take the kids to see the actual "hot springs" downtown.

We just got back from Hot Springs and had a lot of fun. We stayed on Lake Hamilton and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend going to Garven Gardens, digging for crystals at Collier Creek Mine, having a picnic at the Hot Springs National Park campground and letting the kids walk in the creek after a day of hiking in the National Park. We also tried to go to Lake Ouachita and went to the swimming area at Brady Mountain and we didn’t care for it but someone told us about Charlton Recreation Area and that was a lot of fun! The water is freezing so it’s nice to cool off on a hot day. People were floating in their tubes just hanging out. We also went on a UTV riding tour with Hot Springs Off Road Park and that was a blast!!! Definitely worth it!
We wanted to go to the Science museum but we ran out of time but I heard how great it was.
We honestly didn’t know how we were going to have enough things to do but we can’t wait to go back and are planning on another trip.

Oaklawn Casino and Racetrack was one of the cleanest and non-ghetto people casinos I've been to in a while. We liked it so much we went 2 days in a row. I know you'll have kids with you, though.

Make sure you bring something for red bugs. We went a couple summers ago and got eaten up.
