Have had great service at C and R Auto on Burbank and K and M Auto on Siegen. Both were very honest and fixed problems. Highly recommend both.

We stayed at the Cornerwall House with Squires Estate in Governors Harbour. Very nice place. Even helped us with bringing an air compressor for low tire on the rental van. Eleuthera is not very developed so never had a large crowd and had several beaches all to ourselves. Had a nice restaurant and breakfast place and grocery store within walking distance. Buccaneer Club was very good. Did French Leave beach, Twin Coves beach and did an excursion around Turtle Beach. Disney has recently built a marina on the southern end of the island, but wasn't completed when we went, so not sure how that has affected island. Very laid back trip and never felt unsafe.

Call Toyota of Brookhaven in Mississippi. Had very good experience with them. Small town dealer. No sales gimmicks or tricks. Easy to deal with.
The Zoo is worth checking out if you have down time. They have parts of Rosenblatt there with home plate and some seats and foul poles in parking lot. The old part of downtown Omaha is very nice with lot of shopping and restaurants.

Any luck? Always enjoy this thread. Need to come join you one day, buddy has a camp on False River now.
Call either K and M auto on siegen or C and R on Burbank. K and M has worked on our Acura RDX.

Call clay at Prairie Plains. Have one of their dogs and hunted over several. Great dogs, but better people. They only deal with British labs.

Not in Baton Rouge, but if you are across the river for work or anything, the Iberville Parish Firing Range near Plaquemine also has 20, 50, and 70 yard bow range with an elevated shooting tower. Have used the firing range a few times and it is excellent.
If you want a meat haul, call Pure Adrenalin with Captain Jamie Gaspard. Guy is a fishing machine. Great guy and will definitely be an entertaining trip.
Probably not very PC, but a good dude.

Following, interested in doing the same. Assuming Mayeaux Plumbing is in or around Baton Rouge? Would they handle everything or just do mainly plumbing work?
I like this movement, but it can be difficult to find much native species at your local nursery. I found this site when looking around. Might be a little drive from your area, but check it out. All native species, some trees, some shrub and some herbaceous.

Also, check out Elsie's Plate and Pie on Government, very good food but can have long wait times. Bldg 5 and Overpass Merchant near Parrains are very good. Check out Simple Joe Cafe on Government for breakfast.

Another for Buffalo Trace. Also like Basil Hayden.
Not Long Island, but took family to Eleuthera Island. Never felt unsafe at all. Rented a minivan. Driving took getting used to as it was on the wrong side of the road from American style.

Second for Benoits. Best smoked sausage around. Been using them for several years and never been disappointed.
Not exactly close, but the Exxon truck stop in Tallulah off Hwy65 south of I-20 used to have shiners and crickets. About 25 minutes from Poverty Point though. But depending on where you are coming from, might work.

Possibly interested. Got contact info?
Have shot at Iberville range a few times. Great facility. Rifle range goes from 25 yards to 100 yards. Have to buy their targets. Rifle range is covered and has multiple shooting tables. They have sleds and vises along with spotting scopes, ear protection and glasses.
Much appreciated advice. Hopefully will report back with results. Should be a good time regardless.
