Is the Bellagio worth the extra money on the Vegas Strip?

Or is it better to get a room facing the strip at say Caesars or somewhere else?

I would stay at Caesars over Bellagio regardless of money.

I stayed at Bellagio the one time I went to Vegas and it just came across as tired and run down.

Don't stay at either, stay at the Venetian. It's worth it.

Is Belagio that much more expensive than Caesar's these days? I don't see why. I like Caesar's better. To answer your question - No, I would not pay extra to stay at Belagio over Caesar's. Venetian, maybe.

yeah, exactly. I would say Caesar's is much better than Bellagio. I have no clue why Bellagio would be more expensive.
Venetian/Pallazzo and Cosmo are nicer than both (and Wynn).

Is Caesars the top of the line resort under the Caesars banner?
Wife and I are going end of September and that’s where we’re booked. Got most of the nights comped or discounted. Pretty good deal.

Venetian/Pallazzo

I have no idea, but I really like Caesars personally. It is kind of the center of all of the action on the strip, and its a nice hotel, and a massive property with a huge mall, tons of food options, etc.
Good poker room and table gaming too.

We don't gamble often but if we do it's usually on a weekend trip to NO and we play a little at Harrahs to get free parking.
We were planning our trip and were pricing out rooms and everything from Bellagio/MGM to Caesars to the Venetian were around $1,100 to $1,500 for 4 nights.
So before pulling the trigger on anything I signed in with my Harrah's players card and the Wed/Thurs/Fri were all comped and the Saturday was only $58. With the resort fees and taxes it came out to like $280.
It's pretty nice to feel like I already won $1,000 heading into my Vegas trip.
We could have had a fully comped room if we stayed at one of the other Caesars properties but I was already willing to pay more to stay at one of the higher end places so this worked out perfectly.

This was my only complaint with the Bellagio, but I've never stayed anywhere else and assumed most places had the same issue because they're all so damn big. The rooms are pretty nice and are huge.

We stayed at the Palazzo several years back and enjoyed it. They have huge rooms.

I love Caesars rooms. But it's just not my favorite casino. The Augustus Tower has the most recently renovated rooms. But I do really love the Bellagio Casino and I usually tend to stay with Mlife instead of Caesars. I like the Aria as well. I also like the Mirage. It's nice, but the bathrooms are smaller than some of the newer resorts. But I like that the property is a bit smaller and it doesn't take forever to get out of the hotel.
The Venetian/Palazzo is gorgeous, but I much prefer to be closer to the center of the Strip so that I can walk almost anywhere.

I liked Bellagio, but Aria and The Delano (inside Mandalay Bay) are a better deal for the money if you want to stay at an MGM Resort.
The Wynn and Cosmo are also just as nice.

No. Wynn/Cosmo/Aria are top 3 and honorable mention goes to Venetian.

Never understood the need for an expensive room in Vegas. Give me Ballys, mid strip with a room facing the fountains any day. Nice rooms and perfect location.

I think Caesars and bellagio are pretty similar. Venetian is slightly nicer than both, and Wynn/Cosmo/aria are the top tier.

Very important point here. Personally, I just need clean, safe, and mid strip. The Mirage does me just fine.
