Henry and The Teardrop (a continuous thread about domestic travels)

Henry:
The Teardrop:
About Henry: 2014 model, half wiener dog, half miniature pincher, dry weight of 15 pounds.
About The Teardrop: 2014 model, littleguy 5 wide, dry weight of 960 pounds.
About thegreatboudini: 1988 model, geologist by trade, dry weight of 185 pounds.
Recently purchased a lightly used littleguy 5 wide after many many years of tent camping. Looking forward to exploring everything in the Texas State Park system as well as anything from Moab Utah, to Lake Tahoe, all the way up to Glacier.
I enjoy camping (obviously), mountain biking, hiking, cooking and just being outside. I’m based out of Austin Texas for the time being, but spent a few years in Houston and the first 25 years of my life all over Louisiana (LSU and ULL alum).
I’m classifying this as our first adventure with The Teardrop. We’re up at Lake Whitney State Park for the weekend. Have an uncle and cousin coming down from Frisco tomorrow for the day and many adult beverages will be had.
I hope you strangers (and the many of individuals I know on this website) enjoy this thread. We have a few weekend trips on the calendar in the near future, with longer trips to be planned soon.

Looking forward to following this thread. Great looking pup.

One day we'll find someone who paid cash money for their yeti.

My mother has paid cash money for 4 that I know of (2 of them being mind, 1 being my dads, 1 being my brothers and he got one as a wedding gift from all the groomsmen). She has plenty of expendable income.
In the family we have 6 or more, but we fully embrace the fact that we are trash AF.

You should read Travels with Charley by Steinbeck.

Negative, but I do use some of their information. I won it a few months ago when they drew business cards for 3 different yeti’s at URTeC.

I try to stay humble. Not the first time I’ve been told that.
Seriously though, looking forward to reading about your adventures. Gonna live vicariously through you....minus the butt stuff

No truck nuts on the trailer? Need to add “neutered” to Henry’s and the Teardrop’s descriptions.

Is Henry ever planning to make it all the way to Oregon? Lots of good dog-friendly spots to go to.

I hear Henry had a run in with a Nike wearing hipster so Portland causes him anxiety.
