Going to Disney in Oct, so we are getting ready to book our dining. Curious what you all enjoy there.

Not a sit down restaurant, but I never go to Epcot without making a stop at the French pastry shop....

ETA: Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. It's a nostalgic thing for me since I've been eating there every Disney trip since my dad brought us in the late 70's. That was way before CP had the buffet and character dining.

Epcot countries really is underrated for food and drink

Animal Kingdom - love Flame Tree BBQ and Satu'li Canteen. ...

Not sure when dining with characters is coming back but Ohana at Polynesian especially for breakfast

I find the restaurants at Disney Springs to be overprices

Several dining options off Disney property can get you more reasonable priced food once you get sick of Disney food - Benihana right off property and some chains.

These are my favorite table service meals

Animal Kingdom - Yak and Yeti. Tusker house had a good character breakfast buffet. They are opening back up but won’t be a buffet and not sure about any characters.

Hollywood Studios - Oga’s Cantina for something to drink if you are a Star Wars fan. Has alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Dining Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre. Cool experience with pretty good burger.

Magic Kingdom - the Plaza. Nothing special but fairly inexpensive reserved dining and can see the castle from it. Always like Be Our Guest for lunch. $15-20 vs the dinner price, but they did away with the lunch menu when they reopened from
Covid and now it is full price. Might be worth getting a reservation for lunch and seeing if they bring it back and cancel if they don’t. Not worth the $65 per person (adult price) they charge now to me. Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Epcot - Via Napoli, San Angel Inn is really cool also. Garden Grill for breakfast if they are doing character breakfast. Always like the German chocolate chip cookies at Werthers but last time I was there they said they didn’t have them. Hopefully they bring them back.

Disney Springs - Art Smith’s Homecoming

Also like ‘Ohana. Reopening July 9 so not sure how it will be.

Does anyone know if the fast pass services are back up again? Where you go in the app and get 3 per day, and can re up when all 3 are done?

Fastpass has not returned yet. All lines are standby only. There are rumors of a paid Fastpass option when it does return, but nothing official has been announced.

Holy cow. This is interesting.

I remember when "fast passes" were from a ticket box. You pressed the button to get a receipt and it told you when to come back for the ride.

Ganna be interesting if they move to a paid version like Universal (which I still don't buy) Single rider lines in Universal is the way to go, if you don't have small kids.

Sci-Fi Diner for the atmosphere. Rose and Crown Pub for a good home cooked meal. You really can’t go wrong with any of the choices listed previously. It all depends on preference and what you are looking for.

The fast pass+ kiosks have been placed back into the parks this week but have not yet been turned on. I didn’t expect them to return but it looks like they are.

After the 3 fast passes, you could do 1 at a time.

My favorite restaurants at DW:
Flying Fish
California Grill
Brown Derby lounge
Takumi Tei

October is also Food and Wine fest so you should just snack around the World Showcase a few days.
