Not me; I have two. However, is it possible for someone to get a passport in less than a week?

I know a guy in Westwego.

But ngl: your brother’s gonna need some knee pads to expedite that passport.

And, in actuality, I’m the passport guy.

I’m the passport guy in Westwego.

You can get same day passports if you have an international flight booked within 2 weeks. I've done it but you need to call and get an appointment

Not sure where you are but this was in Louisiana I'm sure other states do something similar

Also it is not cheap and it takes all day

There used to be a passport office downtown nola that you could get one same day. I know there is an office in Houston where you can get one in one day. You have to have travel booked.
Buy a $80 spirit flight to Mexico and let it go if you need a means.

Kinda ridiculous how this kind of information exists nowhere online.

We recenty traveled to Cabo with two other couples on the spur of the moment. One of the women had never had a passport, but was able to get one in Houston in two days, and received it on the spot the day before we left.

And make sure you are booking your appointment directly with the US Passport Office/State Department. You will just pay more for the same thing if you use a middle man.

There used to be an expedited passport facility in the canal place building in NOLA. Not sure if it is still there.

I got a passport in Houston in 3 hours. Had a business trip planned to Calgary and realized that morning my passport had expired. Went to the passport office downtown with a printout of my tickets and they said come back in 2 hours. Made the afternoon flight.

Your guy could always just throw caution to the wind and try to use his expired one.

Went to Costa Rica last December with a big group of friends and one of the ladies not only forgot her wallet at home(so no license/ID), but also didn't realize until we got through Customs in Costa Rica that her passport was expired.

She got to Costa Rica and back with an expired passport and no ID, not to mention no money or credit cards. She was Venmo'ing us throughout the week as we paid for everything for her.

You can do it, but you will pay bigly for it

Reach out and make an appointment at an official passport office

I'm curious to know how this is even possible

With the willful abandonment of our southern border, I’ll quote the nasty bitch - ‘What difference, at this point, does it make?'.
