Best Vegas shows

We will be in Vegas over Mother's Day weekend, probably staying at Paris.
We are thinking about trying to catch a show there, but not sure which one. We have heard good things about the Cirque shows, just not sure if one is better than another.
I would like to check out Absinth, but the MIL will be with us and I'm not too sure about taking her to that.
Suggestions from folks who have been recently?

I just saw Absinthe this past weekend. It was awesome. Unless your mother in law is just a complete prude(understandable, because mine is) she might even enjoy it. And it's right across the street from Paris.
That's the only show I saw so no other recs. Lot of people have hyped The Beatles and Michael Jackson shows as well.

It's been a while, but if the Beatles show is still running, GO! We saw the semi-burlesque one, but I am guessing the MIL will not want to go to that one.
There are a bunch of bands in residence there right now such as Aerosmith

The Beatles LOVE was outstanding! I would have gone back every night we were in Vegas. My husband isn’t even a huge Beatles fan and he loved it.

Ka was horrible. Wish someone had warned me. Mystere an O is good.

Absinthe is awesome.
Check out concerts as well. Lots of HUGE artists have residencies in Vegas.
I’ve seen Ka and O. Both were great.

I'm no fan of musicals. But I enjoyed the Beatles show. The music was very good. Buy the cheapest tickets you can find...we were on the top row, and there is no bad seat in the theater.
Check to see if lady gaga is playing. I've heard that is a great show.

+1. Loved that show, and it's walking distance from Paris
Mike Hammer's Comedy Magic Show at the Four Queens is another good one. Think you can get 2 for 1 tickets off of Groupon

I also recommend Beatles Love. Just not KA. It was terrible.

I enjoy Michael Jackson “One” at Mandalay Bay

Thanks for all of the input. Sounds like Beatles Love is an overwhelming suggestion, and I know my better half has expressed interest in seeing a Cirque show of some type, and it is has been 20+ years since I have seen one, and that was the big touring version under the tent. It ill be interesting to see how they modify it for a theater.

BTW, all of the seats are good for Beatles Love. There is no reason to pay extra for a "better" seat.

Agree with everyone that Absinthe is awesome but want to emphasize the point made by someone else that it is not for everyone. I loved it but my mother would not.

First trip we saw O. My wife loved it, I thought it was fine. Saw The Beatles Love on the second trip and it was awesome! We both loved that one.

I liked le reve better than O.
Also thought zumanity was really funny too. Plus, tix are much cheaper than some of the other shows.
