All you need to know about the people of Gander, Newfoundland, one of the best books I ever read.

Ontario by car and Victoria and Vancouver by cruise ship. They were having some protest in Vancouver (weed legalization if memory serves). Just a bunch of dirty hippies like we have here.

Small world. I’m a 15 year survivor of Loblaw Companies. What did you do for them?

Been up there a few times but dealt with them from coast to coast on a daily basis.

I have been to Windsor through the years as a Detroit guy, but probably taken more trips through Port Huron/Sarnia to Toronto and Niagara Falls.

I spent all my summers at my grandparents house on the St Lawrence looking across to Canada. In those days you could just ride your boat to the other side and walk into town. I remember picnics at Upper Canada village. I love Quebec, Montreal, Vancouver and most of all the Canadian Rockies with all those good mountain freedom -loving baws. I also have many some good Canadian friends that live in BC . I went to Victoria Island this summer in fact.

I will tell you that it’s been sad to watch that once strong nation be consumed by feminized Leftist policy. And if they won’t course correct, we should TEACH THEM why they need to course correct. Canada can still be saved, I think. It’s a long shot but possible. Time for TOUGH LOVE.

Flew into Toronto. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever visited. People were polite and dressed well. I saw no riff raff, bums, panhandlers while there.

newfies are like a half breed. half canuck/half irish/scottish. many have a heavy Irish accent. many of my co-workers had family after WW2 where many brits married canadian women and lived in NL.

Depending on how long ago it was, you can. They will scan LEO databases and quiz you about things from 30 years ago, but it's not necessarily a barrier to entry. They also asked me why I had so much of my retirement at USAA, etc. Americans flying into Winterpeg were consistently pulled aside to the "other room," no other nationality seemed to get the same scrutiny. It got to the point that the guy that ran the Canadian border station there told me to email him when I was flying in so I didn't have to go through the same shite every time. I've also gotten the second degree (as opposed to the third degree) when using Toronto as a transit point (meaning I never actually entered Canada) on my way to Rome from border authorities. The Air Canada lounge in Toronto is overcrowded and sucks, btw.
