ABasin has the best two green runs in Colorado. Sundance and Wrangler.

Yeah I watched Wrangler on YouTube. Seems perfect for what we are looking for. Nice wide trail to really practice and improve our turns. Breck looks like it has some nice wide green trails as well.

Hi y’all, I’ll be headed to copper mountain on the last weekend of January. Flying out Sunday at 11. What time should i be driving out? Had a friend take 8 hours to get to the airport on a recent Sunday.

What time should you leave Copper for DIA for an 11a flight?

Are you returning a rental?

I assume you are checking bags?

Do you have priority status with your airline?

Are you TSA PreChek?

I ask the latter two because if neither apply to you, security will be a bitch for you on a Sunday during ski season at DIA.

I’d leave by 5:00 am if I were you. Could beat the traffic and it only take 2 hours, could get stuck in traffic and take 4 hours. I’d rather be early than late!

Forecast looks good for jackson this weekend, 4-8" sat night through monday . Unfortunately my flight is supposed to get in saturday night at the beginning of the snow so we'll see how this turns out. Last year it took me a full day of traveling (3am leaving BR - 2am Vail) with 2 cancelled flights, 1 diverted flight, 1 4 hr maintenance delay, and a 3 hr drive in a snowstorm from DIA-Vail...

I just want the upper mountain to open, so far it looks like the tram hasn't been open or the sublette quad. All that fresh powder up there is just sitting, waiting...

Yessir, on the 810pm from Salt Lake. There's only 4 commercial flights a day to JAC in this "early" season apparently on United and Delta (no AA), two morning flights and two evening flights to SLC and Denver. In a few weeks, all the airlines add ATL, ORD, EWR, IAH, DFW, LAX, and MSP, crazy how much of an increase in seats there is just in a matter of a few weeks

Have a bunch of people coming to ski PC 12/13 to 12/15. The snow is going to be miserable.

We leave for breck next week. Am i even going to be able to ski? Looks to be no snow at all

Also is it better to purchase lift tickets in advance or is it basically the same price once you get there?

You can usually save 10-15% buy purchasing them in advance on the Breckenridge website. Also check liftopia...sometimes they have some good deals.
