Snow making operations have begun at Arapahoe Basin and Loveland. Expect an opening there in the next couple of weeks

Feel free to ask any and all ski related questions and the friendly folks here will help you with whatever you may need.

As for me, have a Summit County trip booked late January. May sneak an earlier trip in if conditions look good.

I was in Aspen from Thursday through Friday. No snow when we got there, but they got a bit on Saturday.

Looking up Aspen Mountain on Friday:

On top of Aspen Mountain on Saturday (it started snowing while we were up there):

Hopefully I can get back at least once for ski season.

I'm on a 13 month consecutive skiing streak after skiing St. Mary's Glacier last Sunday. Had about 3 inches of slop on top of old rotten summer snow. Best skiing I've had in months!

My passes:
Steamboat Unlimited (w/ Winter Park Unlimited plus 3 days at Deer Valley and Crusted Butte)
ABasin Mid-week Unlimited
Silverton Unguided Pass

Shooting for 130 days this year from Oct. 2nd, 2017 to Oct. 2nd, 2018 (my birthday). Totaled out at 123 days this year.

Have the RMSP+ again this season.

Going to Steamboat Dec 16-23
Winter Park- last week in march
Still working on planning a trip for a week in January/February. Most likely to Copper with a day at Beaver Creek as I have a Peaks reward that expires this season I need to use.

My 8 year old who is a good skier informed me he wants to learn to snowboard this year so paying for those lessons all over again will really require me to find those good lodging deals, haha.

Love this annual thread

Have the Mountain Collective this year

Booked Trip:
JHWY first week of January. I want to ski Corbet's. But my balls might not be big enough, I'll see when I get up there though.

Blaine Gallivan's Line of Winter - Jackson Hole, WY 2016

Will probably book 1-2 more weekender trips on the collective

I tried to ski Jackson Hole last season. Drove through the night from Steamboat. Slept in my car for a few hours somewhere in Wyoming during the craziest snow/windstorm I've seen.

Woke up and drove towards Jackson. Got stopped 40 miles short because of an avalanche. Then the news of JHMR being closed due to power started coming out. They ended closing for 5 days. I turned around 40 miles short of Jackson and drove back to Steamboat. No skiing. Didn't even see the Tetons.

Trying to get a rebate on Jackson this year. Ready to send Corbets!

Jackson has already had a 9" day, last weekend I think. Last year they had to close for a day because there was TOO MUCH POWDER On instagram they were digging the snow out b/c the gondola was hitting it going up!!!

I've been before, but I was in high school and not nearly as ballsy as I am now. I stayed pretty low.

I am so fricking pumped for this trip. Gonna take gondi ride on first morning

My wife and I are heading to Hartford, Connecticut in December (the 10th) for a family thing. I've never been skiing in the east but would like to try to go for a couple days if it's budget friendly and can fit our time slots. Y'all have any suggestions of places around there?

Great way to celebrate your Birthday!!! Can't wait for Dec 16 to get here and head to Steamboat, hopefully it's another good early season.

I’m going to breck over Mardi Gras. Was trying to go once more this season but too many friends getting married :/

I can’t wait though. Only been a few times but love snowboarding so much. Hoping to turn it into a regular hobby soon

Have you ever done snowcat skiing in steamboat? Going to Steamboat twice this year and will be skiing one day with steamboat powder cats.

Also making a trip to Banff December 5-10 but the snow may be a little light.

Yep, I've been blasting it all over social media. Unofficial Networks and SnowBrains.com posted the video of us skiing on their blogs.

This was Upper Rainbow near Four Points Lodge. We skinned from the bottom of Thunderhead Lift (summer trailhead) for about 2 hours.

LINK - Video of us shredding the powder.
