Enjoy it! While I’ve been to Silverton in the summer, I’ve never skied it. It’s definitely a bucket list mountain of mine.

Breck got dumped on pretty good last night. The Summit area should be great thru the end of the season.

Wow! What a day. Did not expect to ski pow today.

The San Juans are insane. I had tears welling up in my eyes when I got to the top this morning. The views today were all time. I'm in disbelief of these mountains. Just go on forever. With amazing peak after amazing peak.

Yeah, I have 3 different friends at 3 different places in CO this week for Spring Break and they've all said it's some of the best skiing conditions they've ever seen.

I went to Beaver Creek CO last weekend. Snow was good up top but I ate so much shite on the slush at the bottom. My most brutal wipeout to date was near the bottom on a green run. I was going straightlining trying to catch up with a friend, caught a wrong edge, and the slush just ripped my skis out from under me. I tumbled so hard I completely lost sense of direction/orientation. The guy behind me stopped and was ready to check my vitals

One of these summers I’ll make it down there, what a great way to escape the summer heat.

Not as much as I’d like. Just made the move to Jackson Hole, so I’ve spent the last few weeks on a big road trip down to the desert and then moving. Bout to go for a sunset hike up Teton Pass or skin up Snow King here in town.

Lack of backcountry partners in JH is holding me back on bigger missions. I have a few friends but everyone’s off doing desert and river stuff right now.

My new big boy job has me focused at work too. Got a job at a stellar golf course. It’s gonna keep me real busy.

Spring wrap-around storms always deliver in CO. Hate to miss it, but May at the Basin can be a shite show. Even on weekdays. Once you lose Breck, Keystone, and Copper...the Denver crowds finally start skiing ABasin.

May 18 last year at the Basin was an all timer, but holy hell were the crowds crazy. There was just a line of ants hiking the East Wall. Never seen anything like it. It was pretty fun to see the East Wall going off. I led a big charge of people down 2nd Notch which you normally have to downclimb into. This time you could just ski the entrance.
