I used Private Internet Access for several years, but they got bought by a disreputable company a few months ago and didn't renew.

ExpressVPN. Simple has hell and I can install it on just about any device. It has a 30 day free trial.

For anyone using Express VPN (or NordVPN as a back up) I am going through the trial on phone without account set up and wondering if with full account set up to also use across multiple devices can you also set up DNS filtering/blocking and also see what is being filter or is not being filtered (preferably just logged on phone).
I know I can use something for browser or a browser with built in privacy options, but on phone it's the apps I want to limit contacting 3rd party servers or be able to review contacts including through onelink, applink, and so on on top of some outright blocks of various TDL's.
On phone I have tried out NETDNS, Lockdown, and AdGuard 4.0's DNS filter/blocker for system DNS filtering on phone and having a log to check network usage & what's been blocked or not to make adjustments, but they don't mask IP, use other IP addresses across globe, or really encrypt anything outside of DNS revolver stuff if that.
