It's a phone for you parents or if you just really dont care about specs at all.

For it's price range it seems like a good buy, but its lacking a lot which is to be expected.

Dang. I got the OnePlus 7 Pro in December and I love it. Now that Google has rectified the bezel situation from the 3a, I'll happily consider this phone or it's successor next year.

I guess I'm just not that type of person who needs high end specs. I don't really think a real person could tell the difference in everyday use anyway.

i'm not either. i'm not a power user and can't think of why i'd need more power right now

my 3a is still fine. the only thing this brings to the table for me would be 5g connectivity

I recommend MKBHDs full review.

Seems like for the price point it's quite a solid phone, but if you're used to a flagship experience you'll probably be a bit disappointed.

I am on a Samsung s10e because I like a smaller phone. Might hold out for the 6a next year, or maybe will go pixel 5 depending on what that looks like.

I have the 4 and I like it better than the 3 fit sure. Considered waiting for the 4a, just happened to shatter my 3. Had to drop Fi at that point too. Worst service I've ever had

The $349 4A doesn't have 5G. For that you'll need to get the 4A 5G model for $499. $150 is quite a premium to add 5G, but rumor is it might also have a larger screen and maybe an extra camera. The Pixel 5 will also have 5G, of course.

How will the battery compare to the 3a? The 3a is the best battery I've had in the Pixel line.

Wife needs to upgrade her OG XL and agreed to take my 3a if I get this.

I've read that the 4a beats the 3a in battery life by a decent amount mostly thanks to the more efficient processor.

It's this thing $349 if you're not on Fi?

Shattered my 3XL screen but put a glass protector over the screen and it's fine for now. Because of how difficult it is to swap the screen it would cost me as much as the 4a so not interested in fixing it.

It's also $349 unlocked from the google store. They have free two day shipping right now also.

I'm on a Pixel 2 at the moment and I'm wondering if the 4a would work for what I need. My main use on the phone is for the camera both picture and video.

I do a lot of streaming from my phone also. I wonder if this would suffice for that?

i use it. it's fine for me but Sprint is pretty decent here

from what i have heard, Verizon isn't what it once was

due to always being around wifi my bills are usually below $40/month.

My Verizon service has been declining. At times I can’t even make calls and this is “top of the line” company supposedly

yeah i thought about swtiching a few years ago but saw a thread on here about how Verizon kind of low key sucked now and there wasn't a point. Fi gets Sprint and T Mobile, so if those are decent where you live it's a good option. i imagine rural areas would be terrible with fi
