I can’t ever remember a more buggier iOS update than this one. Truthfully, I don’t know that I’ve ever updated my iOS and have had issues. Apple needs to get on the ball with this one.

11 was worse to me, 12 was a really nice step in stability, so going back to buggy sucks more.

I keep getting a random “zoom enabled” notification. Happened in podcasts. Happens in other apps. Happened in safari and chrome. Yet the view doesn’t change. Real buggy.

Lol, so an update after my conversation with Apple. Long story short, the two button reset and reset of network settings didn't work. Bluetooth was still jacked up and the maps notifications were still going haywire. Ended up getting back on with Apple for another chat session to see if there was anything else. The guy I got was able to do a diagnostic test on the phone and said everything looked normal and that my car would now need a firmware update.
Baffled, I said "I've never had an apply update do this. So you're telling me that b/c of this update if I want everything to work like it did 2 weeks ago my options are 1) figure out someway to update the firmware on my car, 2) get a new phone, or 3) get a new car". Guy said that sometimes the updates aren't compatible with certain vehicles??
Ended up just turning off the map thing all together and deleted and reconnected the bluetooth to my car. Seems to have fixed the bluetooth, but maps are still off

Is GPS messed up by this debacle?
i haven't noticed it on Apple Maps, but ever since the overhauled Apple Maps came out Google Maps (which I've always used) has been slow, puts me in the wrong place all the time, etc. It used to be flawless.
Obviously the conspiracy theorist in me thought Apple sabotage, but I'm guessing that's not the answer.

For how "helpful" Apple seems, they aren't that great at actually getting something "hard" correct.
I had an issue that my CC wouldn't add to the wallet. I called Apple, Capital One, and Visa. Each person blaming the other. Apple said in a diagnostic report that it WAS DEFINITELY Visa. Turns out that it was just an update thing on Apples end. I upgraded to 13.xx and it added.

This update still hasn’t fixed the GD email issue. Get a notification of an email, open the mail app and there’s nothing there. Have to pull down to refresh in order to download the email. This 13 update sucks.

13 has been a nightmare for me. I've been deaf in one ear since I was 19 now 50. This year I lost the hearing in my good ear and had to get hearing aids. I have Oticon aids that bluetooth to my phone. Now there is problems with iOS 13 has caused bluetooth to go crazy so the only way I can talk on the phone is to use speaker phone. also like several others here my battery has going to shite. Emails are a little better at least I don't have to close the app and reopen to see the emails.
Apple sure has screwed the pooch on this one.

13.2 is good for me on my SE.

On my iPhone 7, ever since I went to 13, my wifi randomly turns off and it won't let me turn it back on. I have to shut down then restart my phone. This is multiple times a day

I am having the memory management issue and apps reloading often when switching between them with 13.2.
As a consumer I wish Apple had been spending a little less on buying its stock back and a little more on innovation & buying companies that are ahead of it in markets its wants to get in on (would also help bring in some new blood and thinking), but I can see how it’s earlier announcement of $100 billion buying back of stock (on top of what it had already done prior) is helping stock while hardware and software underwhelm in actual performance.
I have actually come to hate all versions of iOS 13 along with Catalina. I am still having buyers remorse over a MacBook purchase a couple of months ago. I feel like I should have broken away more from Apple ecosystem, and now I can’t pull the trigger on new phone because I am stuck between not wanting Apple but also tied to Apple a little more than I was before getting new MacBook.
Apple TV+ has maybe one show I am kind of interested in, and only watching because I bought a computer and don’t have to pay for service for a year anyway (don’t think it’s reason people are going to buy hardware over competitor at least yet & has no catalog). It’s not enough to overcome the crap the Apple TV app has become in TVOS. Not sure how many will actually be paying for service for first year yet they are spending billions on platform that others with large existing catalogs & studios are entering and that $ could also be going to hiring better or at least more software personnel and pushing out HomeKit hardware.
They just promoted a bunch of people to VP including software which has been awful and have to be back having a lot of VPs reporting to other VPs. They need to think differently not the group think it’s becoming.

It’s been multiple things from install stopping to Photos not syncing with phone & almost working against each other (& duplicating photos) to re-entering AppleID password too often to Music not downloading to settings not staying set to App updates not working across profiles using IDs in Family group to having to have wired connection to use iPad as second display (haven’t retried wireless after supplementals or after.1). There has been more, but so far nothing major like lost data or emails like some. It’s just been consistently annoying as heck. I did the OS restore with 10.15.0 after having some errors when install stopped 90% through and did the same with 10.15.1 within a couple of days. I logged out of AppleID and back in. Turned off some things.
It seems what I used to think was simple and quick on a 13 year old MacBook Pro or a much cheaper Windows 10 laptop is usually taking longer due to some quirk. Even as one thing gets better I usually find a new issue or quirk as I do anything on it for first time and have to lower my expectations on how quickly i can do something.
I should have a fairly clean install as it only had Mojave version it came with for couple of weeks. I didn’t add much except pics, music, and documents. I only updated so quickly to Catalina because having issues with photos in iOS 13 and thought Catalina’s version may work better with it, but it didn’t. I am not even trying to add apps for now besides ones that come with it. I downloaded iPad version of Twitter and later they had an update which was done, but first time my kid logged in after it kept pestering to update and wanted both my Apple ID and computer logins. Even continued after I updated it again under kid’s profile using my passwords and then even after I deleted the app. I finally had to go delete some cache files and other files in library after unhiding it. I probably should downgrade back to Mojave, but I really have gotten sick of being in front of computer for now.

Public beta for iOS 13.3 is out.
For some but not all it has helped with the memory management issues in 13.2.
Edit: the public beta TVOS beta 13.3 adds a setting within TV app settings to change Top shelf from what to watch (basically the commercials) back to Up Next which at least looks like it was with TVOS 12.4.

So when I take a screen shot of something and go to text it......why does it suggest certain people or text threads? The ones it suggests aren’t the people I text the most nor are they the most recent. In fact I really only send screen shots to two people. And they are never in the suggestions.
Also why the frick is “select” and “select all” not an option when I long press text to copy it?
Also.....I’m bouncing from iOS for 1 reason. I still in 2019 am not allowed to select a default music player. Every time I connect my phone to my Bluetooth in my car it plays the same fricking Vampire Weekend song. I even deleted all music files from Apple Music but some how it pulls them from the cloud even though I’ve done everything I can to take away its ability to do so. I even tried to delete the music app but that rendered the music player on my phone useless.
